SEMA 2009 Pictures

I got an opportunity to go this year with my friend Ernie that owns Hard Core Muscle here in San Diego. He brought 2 cars. One is a 2010 Mustang GT that Hot Wheels Corp. wanted him to build for them. And the other was a 2010 Camaro.

We got into town at about 2am Tuesday morning due to the fact that they decided to bring the Camaro at the last second and it wasn't finished yet. We were the last car to get into the show and set up. I got to my hotel at 5am and got to bed at 6, I was effen TIRED!!!

We slept all day Tuesday and didn't even go over to SEMA at all. I got a text from Jim (Sand-Snake) asking if I wanted to go to SEMA after hours and take some pictures. HELL YEAH!! So Jim picks me up at the Palazzo and we head over to SEMA and meet with Nick (ISBB). Jim calls his girlfriend Kristen (foxysandchick) and we all hop into a golf cart and take the tour of the entire show. It's amazing how big this event is. We stop every so often and take pictures and look at cars then move on to another place and do this for a couple hours.

A big thanks :worthless_without_pics: to Jim and Kristen for letting me run around and take pictures when the event was not full of people. Some of these cars were absolutely beautiful and the camera doesn't do any justice to the work people have put into them.

Here are the Pictures-----

Here is the car we brought and the NGK Sparkplug models TWINS!!

I cant believe they did that car at the show in 4 days for everyone to watch.

They went out and beat the sh*t out of it in the back parking lot this afternoon.

i wanted to go sooo bad, next year i need to find me a hook up!

I don't know if they did it this year, but last year, for the first time, they had a time set aside for general public. Didn't advertise it, but i'm pretty sure they did it.

I heard they had 1000 passes set aside for the general public this year. And in doing so a few of the major sponsors pulled out.

Outstanding pix.

First SEMA I went to it was decades ago & just guys selling car lifts, spray booths/paint and frame straightening machines.

I was told by the Glasurit rep: "We'll never seen candy colors or pearls again" because I've always loved them.

Was that "expert" ever wrong.
