Heading to Duck Creek over 4th of July to get out of this heat, ride some trails and enjoy the scenery! What's everyone else doing? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

We are as well. We'll be heading up on Tues and leaving Saturday....Looked at the weather and OF COURSE, expecting rain. Happens every damn time we go up there.

Just got back from 10 days in SE Colorado. Hanging out at a beautiful campground, relaxing. Visited Ouray and hung out on the 3rd floor of the Ouray Brewery drinking fresh micro brew. Got a few rounds of golf in. Highs near 85 during the day and sweatshirt weather around the campfire. Perfect!!post-85-0-16081200-1466997278_thumb.jpgpost-85-0-98987400-1466997300_thumb.jpgpost-85-0-68942600-1466997336_thumb.jpgpost-85-0-50403800-1466997395_thumb.jpgpost-85-0-85634300-1466997412_thumb.jpg

Yeah Ouray was a cool town, while we were on top of the Brewery we watched the thunderstorm move into the valley and open up. Got a few spots of rain in my beer but it was a great time:)

On the border fire in San Diego

We might have crossed paths out there. I was all over that place checking our area. The fire was right where I work. Its crazy to see what a couple of dozers can do to the mountains in a couple days. Our roads are huge now. I am going to bring my drone out there and get some Ariel shots now that it has calmed down.

I was between the sky ranch and the old chicken ranch

Finally made the trip to Duck Creek. Such a fun and muddy mess!

Before the ride....

But we did the 87 mile "Marathon Trail" from Duck Creek, Strawberry Meadow over to Pangutich for a bacon cheeseburger! We had to do some rock crawling, fast a$$ sections, 1 lake, 1 reservoir, 2 creek crossings, 1 gorgeous over look of Cedar Breaks and 1 rain storm.

I'll do a full trip report tonight when I get home..

At least we had some friends with rain gear! I stayed totally dry!

we were up there as well over the 4th, what an awesome weekend of riding it was. We also rode from our camp near the village to Pangutich Lake, then took an alternate route back hitting Mammoth Spring on the way. That was on Sunday, we were flirting with thunder storms the entire day, thunder cracking all around..but we actually only got hit with rain once for only a few mins right before we popped out next to the lake. The weather made the ride and scenery that much more amazing. Glad you guys had a good time!
