Fresh water tank repair

I used an epoxy with a piece of glass cloth that came with the kit. It worked for two weeks then seperated from the plastic tank. My hole is on the top seam so I think I'm leaving it. I thought about a plastic welder from harbour freight.

my fix is going to be a new tank (or a new hauler) for the season I'm using a couple 55 gallon plastic barrels. i had some luck with a roofing patch ETERNABOND very sticky with a chemical reaction when worked. worked pretty good but still had a drip.

I fought a leaking water tank for two seasons, it finally cost me a week long trip over New Years. I finally had to pony up the three hundred-ish and move on. Repairs are just band aids, only one real solution.

my tank is leaking too. My solution is eternobond tape. The hole is at half full so if it drips i will catch it with a bucket and pour it back in. after i use 1/2 of the water no more leak. pulling ot the tanks is easy it only took me 20 min. by myself.
