  1. LOST on Thanksgiving Day afternoon!!! Two 14" Method Wheels for a brand new razor in the area around Comp Hill and Banshee Hill. If found please call 562-833-1279 or message me. Thanks!!
  2. We were there & it was completely insane. They closed the beach at 13,000 day passes plus the 1,000 camping passes were sold out. People were everywhere and the beach was worse then the 405 freeway. Three lanes wide of people trying to go up & down the beach. They weren't going to let my hubby back on the beach and he had a pass that was paid till the following Tuesday. Like most things practice makes perfect. They learned a lot of lessons this year so next year will be better. I think the crowd was just 100 times bigger then they could have ever imagined so I can see why it was a bit outta control. Was way cool to people and vehicle watch though. Would definitely do it again.
  3. We're camped in front of pole 5 if anyone needs a spot we've got plenty of room.
  4. We will be there from the 18th - 27th. Always plenty of room to camp by or with us. First time at Huckfest and totally looking forward to it.
  5. If anyone in the San Diego area has a generator they are willing to loan out the San Diego Bulldog Rescue is in dyer need of one. Their power is out & these dogs are about to overheat especially the sick ones. They can be reached on Facebook. Bullies do not do well at allin anything over 80 degress.
  6. Especially knowing that there are websites like this that people can spread the word about crappy customer service & products. The duning community is way too small to let anything slide by unnoticed.
  7. DO NOT PURCHASE AN RV FROM FAMILY RV!!! We purchased a Eclipse Stellar Toyhauler from Family RV in Irvine,CA in November 2011. The two salesmen we dealt with were really good, but from there it went down the drain. Dealing with Rich in Finance & Jerry in the Service Dept was the worst experience ever. Blamed all the problems we had on our truck & our 5th wheel hitch (which we purchased elsewhere alot cheaper) not on the trailer itself. As it turned out all the problems were caused by a faulty pinbox on the trailer, in which the manufacturer fixed immediately upon us contacting them. Family RV didn't even care that we had spent over $600.00 on fuel, missed a lot of work, etc just to get all of this taken care of. They could have had all of this taken care of the same day if they would have put a little extra effort into it. As for finance he "forgot about our deal" for the two days he was off, so it took us over a week to get financed. In their eyes got the sale so end of story...THEY JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT THIER CUSTOMERS!!!! We will never buy a toyhauler from them, take our toyhauler to them for service OR recommend them to anyone. Now-a-days with the ecomony the way it is trailers, toyhaulers & motorhomes are a luxury item & not too many people are in the market for luxury items. They should be bending over backwards to please their customers to keep themselves in business. Eclipse RV (the manufacturer) ROCKS!! Family RV SUCKS!!!
  8. Just got the vacation days okayed from the boss today so we'll be there. Let me know what I can help out with. Had a great time at the registration booth a couple years back.
