 OK maybe not. Made ya look!   Woody (wsky70) just left there though and Dumont didn't see any snow. He said the dunes are smooth as hell and wet, but no snow on the sand. He said it looks like the 4 motorhomes that are there probably saw some snow flurries last night, but only the mountains around Dumont have snow on them. He took some good pics and said he'll put them up when he gets home.  Here are a couple from his phone for now.   |

Yiah, Yiah....THE SEARCH FOR DUNE SNOW...... Had a thought last night with all the snow falling everywhere, maybe the D got some. Decided to get up this morning and head out to check. Along the way we had our hopes up and down. Snow all around the mountains surrounding Dumont...just maybe. But no luck, if it would have fallen a little harder there it would have been. You can see in the pics the snow level is there, just not hard enough to stick. I'm sure they seen flurries out there though. The sand was pretty smooth, just a few tracks from those lucky to be out there, maybe 5 rigs in the whole place. It was WET and about 45 degrees the road in was still in pretty good condition. Along the way we decided if not there then maybe we would shoot over to Kelso, haven't stopped by there in years. Lucky for us we found some snow in the dunes. So 2 dunes in 1 day, didn't take quads but it was a blast none the yet. I'll post pics of D in this post and reply with pics from Kelso...SF Woody
