What about the weekend passes? The ones I get on Presidents weekend are those vinyl ones that stick to my windshield. No places to put any of that info.
This was mostly directed at the season passes.

I understand they dont want fraud or people duplicating them but the receipt thing is silly.

I had someone else purchase mine as well. I am sure he only got one receipt. Are they trying to drive people away with this crap? That really doesn't make sense. So I tapped the receipt to the back. But here's the kicker I didn't purchase it, my friend did. He bought 3 so his name is literally on the receipt.

Thanks Terry. I'm sure there going to be reasonable. A pass is a pass in my opinion. On top of the receipt question can u also ask about lic plate number? I use my Moho and my truck for day trips so of course they won't match. I did see that the passes had that lady year and I was never questioned or did they look for that.
Thanks again!!
I will check into that but it was discussed in a sub group meeting that the pass is the person's not the vehicles. So not to worry there. I have never been asked to see the back of my pass. It is taped in the corner of the M/H front window and they just check the color and waive me through. They may check camps but usually it's a drive by and they look for them in the window bt the real enforcement is at the outgoing gate. There were a couple changes to the pass to prevent conterfiting, that may be what your looking at.

Wiping the name off and plate # with brake cleaner etc. shows up as the plastic covering is designed to show that a chemical has been used. It is a way to make sure there is no counterfeiting(a problem in the past) and that the passes you have and are using are yours.
It is not a big deal unless you use the pass or obtained the pass illegally. Hope that clears that issue up! BTW the BLM is smoothing out the road as we speak and is waiting for water to come down the river in order to lay another top coat on the road.
Be safe and have a great opening weekend!

Aren't you married? if so put your married name on it and don't worry about it. I doubt that this is going to be a big enforcement deal. Unless there is another reason for them to be talking to you I doubt it will even come up.
No we are not married. I just don't want any issues, some of those guys look for any little thing to write a ticket for.

We are married in spirit. Does that count?
Works for me Mike. I really don't think this is going to be an issue. It's just to make sure that people who try to cheat the system can be detected. In all the time I have been through the gate they have NEVER looked nor asked to look at the back of the pass. Why don't you just put both last names on it and that should eliminate any problems.

The same is true about the passes. Don't draw attention to yourself if you can't put your name and license # on the back of your pass.

I had the B.L.M. come into our camp at the "King Of The Hammers" race a few weeks ago harassing my Girl friend and her and my kids checking our quads for current reg stickers.. I got back just in time to help with providing the officer with our current paperwork.. Than contacted his watch commander on how unprofessional that joke of a "cop" was.. Im sorry but I have no use for the B.L.M. Their just fake desert cops.. Jokes at that !! They should go out and see what REAL Cops do for a living.. LOL!

The last few years we were going to Dumont I must of forgot to buy my pass..
The B.L.M. and there B.S. with the pass programs.. I pay more in taxes than some people make in a year, all the bikes, quads and toys are reg current.. Were tired of the fees.. I got a ticket on the windsheld on my truck last year for not having a Forest Adventure Pass in my own mountains that I live in.. I threw it away and NOTHING has happened in over a year.. Those pass programs are a JOKE!

So what the hell does it matter what you pay in taxes and what does that have to do with your feelings toward Law Enforcement officer? That you should show such disrespect for a uniformed Law Enforcement Officer is downright wrong.. You may not like nor think that LEO's that are BLM rangers are deserving of any respect but to me it is a respect owed the uniform and badge. You don't buy a pass but I guarantee that you would be the first b*tch whining if you or your family member got injured severly enough for life saving assistance that "the BLM" wasn't on scene fast enough or quick enough to suit you. Well pal the LEO's deserve their pay and if you don't pay the fee's to use the area you will have no one to blame but yourself and the other folks who think the "Goverment " owes you something. There is no something for nothing in this world. I would respectfully suggest that you get over yourself and show some respect to the other people who do pay the fee's and play by the rules.
