PLEASE SECURE YOUR TRASH

Just a reminder to fellow duners and campers at Dumont...

After you pack it out, please make sure you strap your trash bags down or put something heavy on top of them before leaving Dumont. Trash bags can very easily blow out of the back of a pickup truck at highway speeds if not properly secured. If that happens, trash can get scattered all over the side of the road causing a huge mess. It kind of defeats the purpose of Pack it In, Pack it Out" at that point.

So please take an extra second, throw your BBQ propane bottle, extra firewood, camp chair, or whatever you might have in the back of your truck on top of your trash bags and make sure it goes home with you and gets thrown away.
