I was there a couple weeks ago. There was dunes where there didn't used to be. They changed quite a bit this summer. I was surprised to find a small dune where pickups often get stuck on the way to comp hill. The dune where we hang out at the North Pole completely reversed itself.
They'll be fine once we get used to them.

Here we are, about a month to go. It was a long, hot summer. The dunes never took a break, the "W" did it's job transforming the sand into new shapes, just for us!
Oil has been changed, belts checked, fittings greased.
Are you ready?

😀
I also disabled my adblocker even though there isn't a lot of ads.
Thanks for keeping her going.

That's why I went there last weekend to "check the tower" (wink wink)
Tomorrow, complete oil and belt changes for our machines.
Last weekend, about 10:00pm at the North Pole just me and one of my boys. So quiet and peaceful, slight breeze. Shut the Jeep lights off, so nice and dark. Could see so many stars without the background city light. It was one of those moments.
This is from last Saturday just before dark. The dunes have moved around a lot this summer.

We went to South Dakota for a vacation. We brought our CanAms. When we got there we found out we could register them. So we got real license plates. There were only a little over twenty bucks each. That way we could use them on the road.
We did the usual tourist stuff, like Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park etc. South Dakota is beautiful and the people are really friendly. We put about 1,500 miles on our machines.
Imagine driving your side by side to Mount Rushmore!

But the road and the wind was blowing pretty good.
The road was mostly deserted. Only passed one car on the way back to Pahrump.
The pics looked blurry with all the sand blowing around.
I have that familiar sand in the ears and hair. No top or doors on the Jeep.
The road is washboarded the whole way right now.
See you soon!

I forgot to add, when I get back I'll take my Jeep to Dumont.
I'm curious about the cell tower.

We're leaving Friday for the Black Hills.
3000 miles of forest roads and trails. Plus the usual tourist traps.
Back after the 4th of July.
I'll post some trip pics.

In Nevada, on off-road stuff, the title is optional.
I live in Nevada and have a friend who owns a dealership.
If I can help, I'm willing.
Maybe I can get a Nevada title and I'll transfer it to you. I'm not a scammer. I can tell this has become a real pain in the butt.
e-mail me if you want to get the ball rolling. (I'll be out of town till after the 4th of July on a Black Hills vacation)

I think I saw the shape of a cell building on a hill.
No tower yet
