Maaaan. Im not sure if im goin... according to Dumont dunes weather. Com. Its gonna be 18mph gust. First it was 14mph but it seems to go up every day. Winds are coming . Fri.sat and sun. Here comes the winds. Im keepin an eye on the weather channel but its not lookin tooo good. (Hope im wrong. )

Dumont empty ??????. Ive been at Dumont for the last 4-5 weekends. And I still have November to look forward. Cause after nov. I'll be snowboarding at mammoth December and January. Back in dunes in February and March. I don't wrench on my rail during riding season. I have 6 months off to work on wants broken. (Summer ). The only wrenching I do is change all fluids during dune season. Trany fluid and motor oil... my rail is not made for jumping nor racing. Its for cruising the dunes. (The Cadillac of rails.).... lol.

The fun part of riding in dunes in the dark is getting lost. The task is finding back to camp.

Why wait til V-day... ???? Thats towards the end of the season. Just to save $40....im goin every weekend in oct. and nov. ....thats why I buy a season pass...

Blue diamond rd. Goin west is the best way. Dumo station in perhrump or Circus Circus campground. Or theres a camp ground on blue diamond rd and I15

I took a vacation day .. fri the 31st. .. yaaay.

Trick or treat is on fri nite. (Halloween) sat is the big dune party in front no comp hill..... after dinner around 8pm.

@@jharb6... Nobody is giving jmock anycrap... I know exactly what he's going through I lost a nephew and a cousin a time ago in armagosa dunes so and I was there when this happen.... people lets this end with this post. Lets move on .. this young kid went to a better place. He's in heaven riding some steep dunes.

I would like to know what happened . So I may learn from this tragic accident....I also agree with nwtdiesel.... pete did not meant any harm . Ive read his post over and over and I understand what pete meant. The dunes are dangerous . Thats why I don't go to armagosa. I lost a good friend there years ago. I don't ride 3wheelers quads and razor/sxs... too dangerous. Im stayin with sandrails.

Im in for glamis. Just let me know when. Its an easy and short drive from vegas. The most 4hrs...with trailer its all flat drom vegas to glamis.

Im planning every weekend in oct. Except the weekend of the 11 and 12 . But theres 3 weekend left after that. I will be there........... Thanxgiven ill be in glamis.

Man I differently had an awesome weekend too bad I didn't stay overnight . I had to drive back to vegas and drop off a couple friends but came back on Sunday with a co worker and his wife. . Enjoyed chasing the longtravel thru thr dunes........ yes I cut the course a few times (4-6) times but hung in there on my purple rail with a 2276cc. Vdub motor. Floored to the floor in 3rd and 4th gear just to stay with the big boys. My second trip out I rode in a longtravel subie with a turbo.... maaaan thats nite and day compared to vdub rail.. you guys (ddr) group gonna have me spending $20-$30k on a new sandcar. I can see this happening soon. Next week 11-12 of oct ill be in vegas speedway watchin redbull airplane races but after that three weekends of dumont. .. im ready. See ya sooon. Ddr.
