LS1 for sale

post-557-1231992483_thumb.jpgI have a LS1 that I bought last summer and have not run I have a CBM computer and dough thorley headers have changed the venterie I have the adapter for it and have changed the oil pan to a rear sump

also a high torque starter all for $4500.00 add the radiator for another 300.00 I will get pic's up tomarrow New price all for $8000 someone needs parts

one pair of 16.50x15 on steel wheels paddles run once 500.00

one 283 with aluminum heads and built with edelbrock cam and manifold msd distribiter edelbrock carb 1000.00

I don't know if it is for a mendi or what it looks like it will fit any vw type bolt pattern the hp of the motor is 375 I also have new fuel rail for it and a high volume fuel pump. The adapter is made by J&R.

no one needs a go set of paddles or a LS motor? how abouta turbo 350 trans with a TCI high performance vale body,Hughes race tranny kit and a TCI street fighter torque converter and Derale cooler with fan. how about a 9in ford third member with 5.43 motive gear detroit limited slip and a moser aluminum case.

That is an LQ9 not an LS1. You can tell by the cast iron block and the big ugly intake. Still a good motor but heavy, lower compession and weak cam. Good if going blown though, beefier block holds up to boost better.

lq9 can get majot hp gains by adding a cam. that alone will let it stomp an ls1 weight diference is only 60 to 80 lbs over aluminum. the additional cubes make up for the weight these are really good motors and are underated.

lq9 with cbm cam and mephi 4 computer

vs

ls1 with 5.3 heads and mephi 3 computer

lq9 stomped it proper. better motor to have than the ls1

so ya barney pretty sure he is right its an lq9 and if thats the case its a better motor :coocoo:

For 7500.00 you get the whole car plus another motor witch is a 283 built.
