All i can say is :thumb: what a damn good time!!!

My bike stayed together the entire weekend!! Cooling issues are OVER WOOHOO!! I burned 5 gallons of gas and it didnt turn into a lawn sprinkler lol.

Sand was SUPER soft and witch's eyes everywhere. Thought we were gonna die a few times on saturday s mid day right. Noon with super powdery and whiteout conditions in most spots made for a slow sketchy ride on the 2 wheelers. For a group of us that are usually 4-5 gear cruisers i dont think we got out of third and that was pushing it for the conditions it was pretty bad.

Justin aka SandSaw aka dinicolada and dinicolady's son aka anorexic a-hole has some footage of our ride where i end up eating it behind comp. You can see where my front wheel just sunk past the front axle and launched me over the bars lol

Skinner and ninjagreengirl hooked it up on the hospitality tent this weekend for me and i wanna thank them for lettin me crash on their couch :D

Whens the next trip.. Im ready!!

Sat. was an interesting trip for us;

Started the day off way to early for my liking or for a scorpion on my back patio. His day ended early squish!

Then was hitting every red light all the way from 215 to Durango.

On a drive of 100 miles I found the only place to pull over where a 2' rattler was having breakfast. Woke Walter up in a hurry!!

No wind the entire drive till we came over the pass and saw the dunes and it was looking pretty dusty.

Road is definitely a "D" and needs some TLC.

Car ran great and finally could pick on them damm Hondas.

Sand was soft and unforgiving, found some holes that you just couldn't see.

Watched Walter feed the chipmunks again, he should be nominated as a greenie just for providing the desert creatures donuts. Wish he would ride in another car just to see if it's my car and my driving that makes his tummy upset:)

Thanks to Pete for the A/C and use of his trailer to get out of the heat and breeze.

To Mexican Eddy for the comic relief" what's that'sacar thats not a car and not a truck" Would that be an "El Camino Eddy?" A Mexican that does not know an El Camino? He was immediately disqualified as a Mexican!

Went for one last ride with Walter on Pete's Raptorand my grandson on his 450. What a joy to watch how much enjoyment that boy gets out of riding, all the money, time and headaches are worth that.

Everyday is a good day at the dunes!

Next trip is probably is the 24th

Just got in!

What a great weekend.. yeah it was windy, thought it would NEVER stop this morning, but we with great hope waited it out, I am sure glad we did!! Got in a couple of really great rides with Brice/Pete leading Thanks!! :thumb:

Tried to hop in at the tail end of a rail ride.. I guess I am just not quite ready for that yet.. they lost me at the first drop and I didn't want to hold them up, so glad Brice and Rees saw me wave them off and I caught up with Bert in the Tracker.. Thanks for leading me on a nice cruise to the N Pole! :headbang1:

Had a couple mishaps in camp, but everyone is fine! :MBdance:

Found a good jump today and worked on that!

Dunes were jacked up, but if you looked hard you could find some good lines!

It was great meeting you 80grit and talking at comp! That new car of yours is gorgeous!

Thanks Vegas Style and Randog for the spot in camp! Didn't get to meet that many peeps, spent most of the time out of camp or in the dunes!

Moon was gorgeous coming up huge over the dunes!

Mike's new car SWEEEEEEET! I had a chance to ride in it on a sunset excursion Sat eve and gave the go ahead for a little hop jump and we worked up to bigger jumps, it just rides soooo smooth, I may spend some more time in it this season. After I get to sore to ride my quad!

Great weekend, good times, good peeps! Thanks to all who made it a good weekend! It was good to see everyone..

Pics later! :whoop:

That was a lot of fun. Had a chance to meet a bunch of new good people. Got a chance to get some more seat time in on the new buggy. Thanks again Lou for taking me on that dune run and thanks to Steve (Vegasstyle) for co-piloting and telling me which way Lou went :)

Still going through a bunch of pics but here is a few. Randy (Randog) put on quite the show at Comp Hill. We were next to some people that starting cheering and clapping on some of those wheelies!

Here are some of my pics.. still getting used to the new little camera.. doesn't take quite as good pics as the old one, but I was able to take it out in the windy conditions, so it balances out!!

Good good start to the sand season!

I also wanted to give a BIG THANKS to Paul Rob for coming to the rescue so quickly when I flagged him down after the other roll over incident!! I was pretty panicked at that time and was all alone, so once again thank you!!:yawn:

 I had a great weekend out there. Those winds were pretty nasty at times and those dunes were super steep, soft, and unpredictable, BUT we still had a kickass time. We managed to squeeze in some killer runs in between the wind gusts.

When I woke up just before sunrise on Saturday I got my camera ready for a sunrise pic, then relaized I left my memory card at home. :dope: 80grit hooked me up bigtime though. Thank again Rob. You are a life saver. I'll mail it back to ya. :thumb:

Saturday was windy all day. Just when you thought it was calming down a big gust would come up. It was cool though. Like I said, it calmed down just enough to get some runs in. Sunday turned out to be a great day. It was windy in the AM and just about everyone boned out of camp except for a few. We went on a group buggy ride and that's when Richie put it on it's lid. :dope: That sucked but could always have been way worse. Then like a trooper, he went back to camp, straightened his whip out and checked some stuff, and off he was again....until he broke a 2nd axle at comp doing a wheelie. :dope::laughing:

Sunday afternoon we went on a very long mellow run. That was just what I needed after a weekend of getting sandblasted. It was virgin sand everwhere, the dunes were pretty easy to read that time of day, and everyone hung in line together.

My car did great other than some very minor stuff. Raptor did good as usual and the hauler was somewhat cooperative. This trip was just what I needed though. I thought I was way daled in and ready for the season, but turns out I still have some stuff to get done. lol

We didn't leave until about 6:30/ 7 o clock Sun night. :porn:

some quick observations...

-Joe Duners car is gorgeous

-Tracy can dune the buggy pretty damn good

-80grit is a day late with the sunscreen lol

-Joel & Wes tested the rollover-ability of the Rhino

-holy kickass carne burritos! Thanks again Reese & Tracy

-sandseeker Brice won't give up when it comes to getting things fixed for his kids & the group. He'll go out of his way and then some to make sure everyone's ride makes it through the weekend.

-Randog is still the craziest mofo I know. He now has fans at comp hill cheering him on. Will Randy slow down after having a kid? NOPE! lol

-Donnie is now "Donnkey". Yee-HAWWW hahaaa

-There are less razor tops out there thanks to the front end of my car. :dope:

-Where's LEE? Ma facka has A.D.LEE. n'shiat

There are many more but I don't remember them all right now.

Killer weekend and great seeing the dune family.

pics to come when I get time to go through them.
