:thumb: That was cool Rob. Nice job.

Thanks for taking the time puttin' it together. :headbang1:

I have quite a bit of video that I need to work on something.

Also, I dig on the camera position in your car too.

I usually put mine on the roof, but your spot is better foe schizzz.

Looks awesome.

Thanks for sharin' mANg.

What video was that shot with? Wide angle or standard lens? GoPro???Really nice video!

Thanx

All the POV in car shots were with the standard Gopro HD in 1080/30 p mode. You get a wider angle if you shoot in the 720 p mode.

The exterior shots were with a Sony EX1R video camera.

Thanks, That is the info I've been looking for. Made my decision for me to get the standard lens GoPro. Just didn't care for the Wide angle one.

thanks again!

Pat I have the Gopro HD Motorsports Hero. I believe that is the same as most of the guys out here.

The camera has 5 user selectable settings for its raster size & frame rate. This setting will also determine how wide your angle of view is.

1080p = 1920x1080 pixels (16:9), 30 fps, 15 Mbit/s data rate

960p = 1280x960 pixels (4:3), 30 fps, 12 Mbit/s data rate

720p = 1280x720 pixels (16:9), 60 fps, 15 Mbit/s data rate

720p = 1280x720 pixels (16:9), 30 fps, 8 Mbit/s data rate

WVGA = 848x480 pixels (16:9), 60 fps, 8 Mbit/s data rate

I had the camera set to 1080p for this footage.

If you set the camera to 1080p you will get a 127 degree wide angle.

If you set the camera to WVGA, 720p or 960p you will get a 170 degree ultra wide angle.

Its user selectable.

As a comparision, this footage was shot at 760p with 170 angle of view. Same exact camera and mount on my car. Look how much more of the hood, tire and suspension you can see. Also the people in front of you seem further away.
