BIG RICK Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 i have a rhinocraft cdi box i did some checking on the internet, said it raises the rev limiter up from stock 6,800 to 7,800 also takes off reverse limiter. is there a better cdi box to get. dynatek.... juice box...... msd..... please let me know. if so whats the best price for one..... otis Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 I read a while back that there were only a couple companies that actually make CDI boxes and other companies just slap their name on it. So brand x & y where probably made by the same company .... They all do pretty much the same, f/r rev limiter, advance timing. I think one actually has a top speed limiter that u can switch on/off (can't remember which one). That being said, I have the black rhino CDI on mine (don't know the original manufacturer) for a couple years and have had no issues with it.
