Ended up at Battery Plus in Vegas and got a battery that fits perfectlly. It's only 40 cranking Amps lower that the stock battery. I don't purchase anything, regardless of the price, without thourghly checking out the product. I have also found that the premium stuff can also have "issues". My stock battery in the 06 still had a little bit of life in it but not enough for me to trust it as much and as far as I sometimes go. Others should check, as I did, prior to buying anything. This happened to have a good warantee from a National Company and like I said compared favorably to the origional battery that lasted 5 yeats. I shopped around and found them as much as 200 each, but I was able to find a distributor on ebay that let em go for 153 shipped...I thought I got a better deal, only to discover it's the same case and CCA as for a rhino. With this thread, I got to wondering... The only reason that I know of, as to needing those dry cell batteries, is that they are mounted on their side...otherwise, perhaps I spent way too much Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
