wsky70 Posted January 30, 2012 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Took it to the shop a few weeks ago and got an oil change. On the way home the light came on, called them and asked, said it was ok until I can take it back the next weekend. Light has been coming on and going off about every other drive. Didn't come on when taking it back down (twice now) They say its not being stored in the system for them to see it, so they can't do anything about it until they can see a code.....Anyone have anything about this issue? aseman Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Does the abs light turn on too, at the same time? If so, you might have an issue with one of the abs axle/wheel speed sensors. Intermittent stabili-trak issues are indeed hard to diagnose because your truck actually resets and clears the fault(s) pretty quickly when it doesn't see the issue anymore. It just says service stabilitrak and then the diagraham shows up.
