Gonna be an action packed weekend. Anyone else plan on going or want to meet up out there? It's always fun to watch these races. rushjunkie Posted May 3, 2013 Share Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) I know Pete got some great shots of this event (up on his site), so I thought I'd throw a couple of mine on here. I will preempt with saying that I was woefully unprepared for this. I was LATE (only hung out with Pedro for about half hour) and my nicer equipment was tied up in a studio. That being said, I NEEDED to get out since I had to miss 95% of the season due to surgery. I learned a bunch (first time shooting any sort of race) and had fun (even though after a couple of hours of hot sun burning my neck I ran inside for a couple cold brews). So I was sitting there with my eye in the viewfinder waiting for the quads to come around this corner and just when I clicked the shutter these two guys happen to come by and give me an epic photobomb. I laughed pretty good when I saw this pic: Have a bunch more to go through, I'll see if there was any decent ones in there. Also stopped by and got some pics of the towers at the solar generating plant they're building out there. Looks like one of them is complete (or pretty close).
