GTP Off Road made the trip down to Costa Mesa for the Super Sand Sports Show this year. Met NE14SAND in Victorville. He was our tour guide through the show and opened up his home to us for the night. Once we got to the show, we made sure to stop at all our suppliers booths that were at the show. Checking out what their newest product lines are looking like. Then we made our way through the show, stopping and chatting with some potential new suppliers and making new contacts. Break for lunch with some of the hugest corn dogs we have ever seen! Picked up some new riding shorts, I was over due for those! It looked like a pretty good turn out and a good variety of product lines and vendors. Exhausted from the show we headed back to Aaron's place for beers, campfire and grilled el pollo burritos. We can't thank him enough for the hospitality. One of the things we did notice was the lack of Dumont BLM. We had planned to pick up our passes at the show, but the Glamis BLM said they were not at the show this year. Most of the other areas were represented. Ocotillo Wells, Glamis, Idaho Dunes, Pismo... no Dumont, but that's ok, Dumont sucks anyway and all those other places are way better...:laughing:

Some pics from the show...

That was a pretty smooth show for us, from setting up to talking to (potential and current) customers to tearing down and getting home, back to SB before 9 last night. It seemed like a very busy show, we had a lot of people stopping at the booth getting ready to put money down on new builds and checking out our clutches. It seems that things are on the way up for the industry again.

Saw Randog friday night, but was busy with a customer at time, you should have swung back by, I had some coozies for you. Neal Rideout stopped by on sunday and chatted for bit, good meeting you Neal. I probably talked to over 50 people a day, mostly about our clutches and HV-1, which will now be available for LS motors!!!

We had a huge name in the booth on saturday, I cant reveal any names, but we might have some big news with venturing into other markets in the next 6 months. We are really excited and hoping we can work it out.

Didn't get a coozie all day :dope: . But seriously bro wish we would have stopped back by to BS with ya. Was a krazy long day, went to work, E-cig convention, SSSS, then off to the HOB to see 'The Iron Maidens' . got home after 3am. We'll catch up with ya Sean @ the D.

Oh, I did win some Techni-Ice thou. :rockwoot:

Yeah I was busy all weekend. It was a great show for us.

I don't think the sand car builders will be bringing out their "economy" models for the floor in the next few years. I've heard some complaints that some people wanted to see what a $40k car was looking like these days. It seems like it's all about showing off what they can do on the high end right now.

It was good to meet you also Sean. I had a good time. I spent most of it talking with a bunch of my customers and making contacts for new ones. It was a SxS show by far. The amazing thing is I didn't buy anything. I did stop at the Rigid lights booth and showed them the flashlight I made using one of their lights that I use for my night photography and they went nuts over it. They brought their marketing person over, took a bunch of pictures, asked a million questions. They told me they were going to get with their engineers to perhaps build a prototype. Cracked me up listening to them. I told them to get me one for testing and I would donate mine to their museum, LOL! Here are a few shots I took
