What an amazing weekend. We got out Wednesday about 6 ish the road was HORRIBLE coming in. Surprisingly it was fairly deserted (considering it was Halloween weekend) it didn't really fill in until Friday afternoon. Got a few great runs in, the dunes are still summer weirded out lots of witches eyes. Laughed my butt off till I got head aches in camp chair hurdling competition. (The things we think up at 1 AM with lots of beers in us.)

Hot hot hot out there Brice and I tried to see just how hot we could get our motors before we had to pull down and cool em off.

No injuries in our camp that a band aid didn't fix (kids) only one broken buggy (hoping it's not too bad Bud but hey at least it has all 4 wheels on it :) )

Trick or treating with the McFlurry always rocks and our kids usually score with hand fills of sugary loot.

The Sherriff's were way cool!! Unless u drink Coors Light lol

All in all a fabulous trip!!!

I had a busy weekend this weekend helping out at GTP Off Road's vendor area. I didn't even get one single ride it, let alone start my quad! But there was a steady flow of customers and people coming by all weekend. We did get to take an evening run to Comp Hill, on Saturday after the trick or treaters went away... ok, so after we ran out of two Sam's Club sized candy bags! Vendors Row is the place to trick or treat! It was pretty fun to walk and check out the craziness of Comp Hill on Halloween weekend Saturday night! There were even rows all the way up and on the finger dune. I haven't been out to comp hill on Halloween weekend for years! Even hung out with Miley Cirus for a little bit! Sunday was even a bit busy with people coming by to make their final purchases.

One of the other new vendors out there was Grandpa's Ice Cream Shoppe! YummmmmmY! Well worth the wait. We had Banana Splits $4.50 with all the fixins! :eat: They will be back out for Thanksgiving!

I will look forward to a relaxing Veteran's Day trip.. I am wiped out from working all weekend.

Too busy to take many pics...

Oh and as we were leaving to head home, the sniffing dog was hard at work sniffing out people who were entering Dumont. There were about 6 or so people sitting around out of their vehicles while the dog did its job. So looks like another Halloween weekend with the dog.. since this week and next weekend are the "official" holiday...

We left Thursday night and arrived at about 9pm and came home Sunday after noon. The entrance road was good going 20mph in and 30mph out with hardly zero wash board. My family and friends all had such a blast! I went to bed every night around 4-5am. We cooked steaks for dinner and every morning we had bacon, eggs and potato's. I'm sooooo glad I purchased the toy hauler. We slept 4 adults and 4 kids all weekend with ease. We had huge bon fires and about 15-20 people around the fire every night. Comp hill at night was so fun with all the people being crazy, if it got to out of hand I would just leave and go dune for a bit then come back and sit and watch all the action for a bit then go dune again, we would dune till 2-3am. I never once went up comp at night and tried to be safe as much as possible. I never got passed 2nd gear since I was getting a feel for the new car plus 2nd goes like 50-60mph. One of my friends I took in the rail loved it so much he is purchasing one this week LOL I beat my rail to death so I could find all the weak spots and boy did I! I lost my rear wheel twice due to the studs breaking off and ripping out of the rotor and I broke the front ball joints on the A arm. Other then that it did great and went everywhere I wanted to go. It rides like a dream!!! We saw a ton of carnage out there with new RZRs rolled, sand rails missing wheels and front ends. We had so much fun were thinking of going back next weekend too. It was my future wife's first time and she loved it and it was my boys first time camping and they are already asking when we are going again. If we don't go next weekend we will be out for Thanksgiving.

Thanks to H town for getting me some bolts and doing some welding for me and thanks GTP for the goggles. We had 3-4 trucks towed into the shop today from Dumont and people seeing our rig. Thanks for the support everyone.

Thursday to Sunday. Largest camp so far. Apologies for anyone that was looking for our camp for tricking and treating near Bathroom 12. Our group made a late change. Hope everyone enjoyed our decorations and characters as we try to step it up every year. Lots of compliments from people coming in. Broke the normal stuff on a couple Rzrs in our group but nothing major. raze7u9a.jpgbasenu9e.jpgatyza5ud.jpg

Been back to camp on 3 wheels several times myself, with my first car that is. Looks like a hovercraft, or maybe the back to the future flying delorean a bit :P
