Rough draft of the agenda

;"1/ State OHV grant applications submitted on March 3 including the grant for Dumont Dunes that contains a request for purchase of road groom as proposed by Terry Allen; 2/ Proposed Dumont Dunes Holidays for the 2014-2015 OHV season; and 3/ Discussion of the FY 2014 Dumont Dunes visitation, revenue, staffing, emergency medical services, etc. If attendees are interested I can also provide information concerning the 29 Palms Expansion/Johnson Valley OHV Recreation Area."

If anybody wants a ride down let me know. I will be leaving by 07:30 AM from the area of the "M" casino. I always enjoy the company for the ride should anyone want to go. Could be an interesting meeting with info on where we stand on this years budget and holidays being set for next year. Also an update on the 29 Palms expansion is always good for some bitichen:)

well due to work I can't make this one either (DJ gigs don't change times/ days)

Terry, thanks for taking the time to do these.

I think my main concern right now is the entrance road, and getting it prepped BEFORE the early birds and vendors show up for holidays.

Looks like Halloween is a Friday this time, so hopefully they will get that right this year.

We are looking at a new piece of equipment that may ease the road situation because it can be towed behind a 3/4 ton truck and there fore we would not be at the whim of the operators. But I will make sure that I bring up the cleaning up of the road well before the actual holiday. Also we will be specifying the holiday weekends for next year at this meeting so hopefully no fiasco's such as was this year. Anything else anyone wants brought up?(within reason, no I cannot get your ticket fixed:)

the season pass thing again about a passenger vehicle pass with a season pass purchase

Yeah that's a constant complaint of mine. If we could actually get a Barstow BLM employee to do a "Business Plan" for the RRAC committee then we could actually present it to them. It's only been 3 years i can't believe you would think the US Government would work faster than that?
