      Halloween Weekend officially kicks off another dune season at Dumont! Get the toys ready, decorate your camp, bring the costumes and don't forget plenty of candy for the trick-or-treaters making their way from camp to camp Saturday night.
      Friends of Dumont Dunes Trunk or Treat will be held Saturday, October 31 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Vendor Row. Camp-to-camp trick-or-treating will continue throughout the dunes afterward, so come prepared for a fun Halloween night in the sand.

      Halloween festivities get started Saturday afternoon with the Friends of Dumont Dunes annual Trunk or Treat from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vendor Row. Decorate your rig, bring the kids, and plenty of candy to hand out.

    • Veterans Day Flag Run 🇺🇸

      Friends of Dumont Dunes will be holding their annual Veterans Day Flag Run on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
      The group traditionally gathers at Vendor Row before heading out on a patriotic ride to Veterans Hill (the swingset), where a flag-raising ceremony is held to honor our veterans.
      Bring your American flags and come show your support!

    It's about that time and the annual DDR summer night drags/ night ride trip to Dumont is almost here! It will be the night of Saturday August 8th, 2009. Show up whenever you'd like, but most people usually get there about 7/8 PM as the sun is going down.
    For years now, the members of DDR have picked a date in the middle of summer to head out to Dumont for a sand fix. It's always a great opportunity to take advantage of the smooth sand with some other duners around. We all know duning in packs is always safer.
    Banshee Hill is usually lit up with lights brought out by hill shooters and spectators. Some fast bikes always show up for some good racing.
    Everyone is invited to come out. Note: This is not in any way a sanctioned or organized event put on by any other group or association, but rather just a "run what you've brought" good time in the sand with some other sand junkies. Most duners will be parked and camping either around bathroom 6 or at Banshee Hill.
    So come on out and be part of this. If you have a question or would like to hook up with some other duners heading out, be sure to post up on the forum that you will be going. Have fun and be safe!
