      Halloween Weekend officially kicks off another dune season at Dumont! Get the toys ready, decorate your camp, bring the costumes and don't forget plenty of candy for the trick-or-treaters making their way from camp to camp Saturday night.
      Friends of Dumont Dunes Trunk or Treat will be held Saturday, October 31 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Vendor Row. Camp-to-camp trick-or-treating will continue throughout the dunes afterward, so come prepared for a fun Halloween night in the sand.

      Halloween festivities get started Saturday afternoon with the Friends of Dumont Dunes annual Trunk or Treat from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vendor Row. Decorate your rig, bring the kids, and plenty of candy to hand out.

    Veterans Day Parad…

    Join the Friends of Dumont Dunes in honoring our great Dumont Dunes Veterans!
     

     
    4th Annual Dumont Dunes Veterans Day Flag Parade Cruise and Gathering 🇺🇲

    Everyone will line up on the west side of the Vendors Row starting at 9:30 AM.
     
    Decorate your vehicles in American flags or red, white and blue. 
     
    Wear your red, white and blue, show how proud you are for our Veterans. 
     
    Kiddos are welcome to join the parade on their quads, dirt bikes and mini sxs's

    At 10:00 AM, they will play the national anthem 
     
    🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
     
    and when that is complete, whoever the Star Spangled Banner playing leader is, will then start the parade cruise around the front of the Vendors Row since they can no longer drive down Vendors and they will cruise the route through the camp area and over the one dune to the flats over by Veterans Hill. 
    (The speed will be based on the youngest rider)
     
    There they will begin to gather everyone. 
     
    The agenda:
     
    • Take down the flag, if it is not acceptable and raise a new flag to replace it. 
    • Have the Veterans in attendance join in front of the group.
    • Hand out any little flags to the kiddos
    • Moment of silence
    • Pledge of allegiance 
    • Present Veterans with a token of our appreciation. 
    • Ask the Veterans if they are comfortable talking about their service, even if it's just a few words to say their branch and years or any stories/experiences they wish to share. 
    • Patriotic music mix while we visit and hang out.
