AT&T is unreliable at the dunes - they go down when a windstorm blows though - then they fix 2 days later.  Then went down MLk and president day weekends , also the weekend after president day.  Each time during a peak wind event. These are just the times I know of recently.  I reported it twice - last time I asked for supervision- told them it’s a chronic problem , they need to do something better.  He told me they are aware, engineering looking into it. 
 

I talked to the people who come to fix - they kind of implied- of course it goes down during storms. 
 

when they do go down - I hope people take the time to call AT&T customer service, let them know the service is important to us.  The land was donated by BLM in the interest of public safety.

I use Garmin alpha dog system based on GMRS radio.  It’s totally off grid system with 9 mile range.  It’s also a full featured gps and training collar .  I have owned it for about 2 years - it has worked well at the dunes, other places .  I have a 19 month old active Labrador.
