  1. For what its worth, made it out today at approx 1100am.....a truck was stuck at the 1st crossing blocking about 15 other trailers....went to the little dunes and took the flats

    ....EASY DRIVE / VERY PASSABLE..

Left about 500pm via main exit and it was SKETCHY! Had to man up when we saw all the folks with cameras waiting for a failure.....flatbed was submerged but no probs

  2. Operate out there at your own risk. There is less traffic on off weekends. Our sport is dangerous and requires responsibility / education for everyone involved. "Competition Hill" (by it's very definition), is a "Look what I got and what I can do" place. Lets hope we don't hear that helicopter AT ALL this season. Stay Safe.

    :flipoff:

  3. Once again Craig, good luck! A couple of points you may want to consider though... :idiot:

1). Assuming you register the Rhino in AZ and live in NV (if I read your post right), you will only be able to do this for 60 days....or until ur caught (NRS 482.385-3)....

2). If you manage to somehow keep your AZ driver's license, you have only 30 days to change that (483.245).

3). Certain laws CAN be enforced via citation in NV for offenses that would be perfectly legal in another state; (example >>helmets are not required for motorcycles in UT but you ride without one here, I double dog dare you to show a cop your UT driver's license or registration and say "Its legal back home".....as the Supreme Court brief you cited stated:

"In the absence of national legislation covering the subject, a state may rightfully prescribe uniform regulations necessary for public safety and order in respect to the operation upon its highways of all motor vehicles,-those moving in interstate commerce as well as others."

4). Most importantly......although states cannot override the US Constitution, they can operate within each clause to LIMIT the extent which the right applies to their residents (i.e through elected officials). Example: The second amendment affords all Americans the right to keep and bear arms.......the state of California has limited that amendment to almost non-existence (i.e. no .50 cal weapons / certain rifles illegal / round caps on mags / ect...)

Keep fighting the good fight Craig!!!!

  4. police, when not on DEFCON 4 due to a overabundance of azzhats, are usually really cool peeps......its when the sh!t goes down that they go into d!ck mode...and I cannot say I blame them

    :argue: :flipoff::idiot:

I seem to recall a hurricane where thousands of people were warned (well in advance) to evacuate a city. When the storm came, people begged for help and demanded that the govt "save them".

We participate in the greatest past time on earth, and guess what, its dangerous. Every duner (hopefully) knows that, and should plan for the worst.

If you are not happy with the services provided to you IN THE MIDDLE OF $%^&@#*! NOWHERE, then do something else.

  5. Overall good idea Craig....

that being said, picture a bunch of 16 y/olds borrowing their parents Rhinos and creating a huge problem....

the 1st thing a law-maker would see is a bunch of kids getting killed in "ATVS" on the street...

of course, you could make that same argument with cars, I'm just playing Devs Advocate.......

    far fetched? maybe...

but you're talking about one of the only state legislatures that allows felons to sit on a jury....

    GOOD LUCK :mischevious:

  6. I recently put a 2 bros. single pipe on my 660 Rhino w/ a noticeable bottom end gain....

After TWO trips, the head pipe separated and a large hole on the side of the canister was discovered.....(no kidding, it was about the size of a beer can top)....

The original pipe was destroyed during the refit and I have no ideas which way to go......

CAN NE1 RECOMMEND AN EXHAUST SYSTEM THAT WILL NOT BLOW OUT MY EARS AND GIV ME SOME POWER?

(2 Bros duals are ruled out so any other input would be fantastic)

    :argue:

    :rhino:

  7. i havent posted on here before, but have read alot about what everybody has to say and how people think.

i myself have been going to dumont for a while now and enjoy the party atmosphere. In another thread, where people were talking about the expense of dumont trips, i noticed 2 things in common; gas and beer. every single poster would deffiantly be taking alcohol to dumont. and for most of them, large quantities. people go to dumont to have a good time. and if a good time for you is having quality family time then thats perfectly understandable, but dont take out your need to rid dumont of all 'unnaceptable behavior' on everybody else who is there for other reasons. if somebody feels the need to bring a stripper pole and all the drunken lunatics gather around it and are having a great time, whats so wrong with that? they arent driving around their sand rails or quads or whatever. and more importantly, they are collaborated in one area. Like someone else said, its your job to police what your children see. If you dont want them involved with that, eather dont go to comp at night, dont go on super busy weekends, or simpily drive around and scope out the rows of people. park near other people with children that are there for the same thing you are. similarly, i would not park next to people with children because i want to party and have a good time with everybody else like myself. so im more likely to park near them.

thats just my two cents; just because you dont agree, does not make it wrong...

    :driver::laughoff::laughing::laughing: :gayboy: :barf:

  8. Like Al Pacino once said....

"You can get killed walkin your doggie!"

Everytime I wreck, I go through the same thing......especially this last trip when I had a collision up comp.....

what doesnt hurt us, makes us stronger (and wiser) :beerpint: :mc_smiley:

    P.S......Keep dunin...ull thank urself later)

  9. Heading out this Wednesday the 19th gonna stay for a week. Would like to hook up and camp with some people. Anyone heading out????? barefoot bob and dune rat can throw in a good word for me if need be. gonna haul out just the rail this trip. still havent figured a safe way to get the quads in there.

For what its worth, I WISH I was going
