  1. Has anyone traveled those roads towards Dumont to know if they are open or washed out like a rumor has them?

I'd hate to drive the long way in for Pres Day weekend.

    thanks

I was planning to go thru Tecopa this time ( driving solo from vegas) and need to know what the road condition is for this weekend's Regetta. Please help!

  2. We won't have the same sandboni, but Randog is bringing out a screen/ mesh setup that might work even better this year.

Yes, everyone should try and bring their share of firewood if possible just like any other weekend so we can have plenty for a big fire Sat night. :drunks:

    Cool. Any other stuff needed?

  3. Sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't find anything on this topic.

But I am looking to see if you guys know of a place in Pahrump with easy access to dump the holding tanks. Oasis RV park on blue diamond just went up to $15 to dump and then they lead you all over the park to a camp site that's open since the station near the front gate is broke and has been since before T-Giving.

    Sorry for the rant! :freakin_nuts:

  4. No Problem if have a head count on who want what it would be easy but here what i going to Do Instead of having everyone reply Its First come till tri tip gone i will bring about 30 lbs of tri tip that should feed about 40 to 50 and 40 to 50 lbs of pork that should feed about 60 to 75 so we have it covered we will be have chips and cole slaw Thanks Smokin Al and staff :freakin_nuts: :atc:

Big Al makes some killer BBQ. Man I am looking forward to it. Last years was off the hook! :yiah:

  5. I never knew this thread existed. This bike has resurrected from the dead and it will be at the regetta in two weeks. I will keep it under wraps for now but this bike should be a hit. I can't wait to show it off but you won't be calling the Blackened 70 or the bama70.

  6. It's alive! Just want to share the experience... keep a close eye on your point gap and make sure your solder connections are good. Too large of a gap and the points wire wasn't secure to the condenser.

  7. :beercheers:

    hey guys...

Let me clear up some confusion on a couple things that I thought everyone would understand without explanation. :pissed:

    1) In order to pre-register or make an order in the DDR store (ie: purchase a participant package or rsvp as a spectator, etc) you need to register a new store account. Your DDR forum account is completley separate from that so your forum log in info will not work in the store.

    2) RSVP'ing as a free spectator (which costs nothing) does not entitle you to an event t-shirt. If you want to come out but also want a shirt, you will need to select spectator package, then keep shopping and purchase a t-shirt as well.

If there are any questions feel free to email me (pete@dumontduneriders.com) or just post up. :rzr:

    Thanks.

Hey Pete. I hope that I did this correctly. After I registered I did receive 3 emails including an order confirmation number. Let me know if I need to do anything else.

    Thanks

  8. After the build my son's bike ran just fine, then it sat for month or so and was hard to start with a very weak spark. Then it would not start at all. So, I think it the condensor and install a new set of points and condensor, set the gap at about .013-.014 and it still has no spark. I do a resistance check on the coil, primary side is 1.8 ohms and secondary is 8.5 ohms. Seem's a little high so I try the coil off my bike. Still no spark. I think it might be the stator (3.0 ohms resistance), so I try the stator/condensor from my bike and still have no spark and it won't start. Any ideas out there guys???
