  1. I am glad he wrecked his car just before we left comp hill, why was he traveling so fast at the entrance, if he did not sail over to the right, would he have killed someone on a quad or a bike, if he would have gone in the center of the entrance. Hope he is ok, but he could of hurt a lot more people.

your glad someone wrecked????? how fast was he going???

you can go fk yourself, matter of fact why don't we meet up so i can beat a dumbshits like you a$$

he has been going to dumont for 20 + years and knows how to drive, thats why it's called an accident.

its people like you that should not be at the dunes, your prob. the guy who will complain and try to get a speed limit in the desert.

  2. Ryan, people usually want details on how it happened so they can take extra precautions out there and avoid doing the same thing on future trips. I think that is one of the reasons why White Rhino was asking.

true , coming back from comp area on the woop road he went off the right side dune, the hill climb one. either outran his lights or thought it was the ridge before the edge of the flats.landed nose down into the flats. it happened at about 7:30 friday night after a dune run

  3. danny is a friend of mine. he is at umc in vegas in critical condition.

details are scetchy right now. heard lung damage, broke ribs, aorta torn??? on a breathing machine. it was coming back from comp friday night. not sure how or why it happened.

i believe it was raspadoo's old car 2 seat black turbo honda that he bought

  4. if youre reffering to the front tires, they arent on the wrong sides.. these are the new dune star front tires. they work awesome.

What was the cost of the cage, roof, doors?

i know what dune stars look like. i have a set. i was refering to the PADDLES ,sand stars i believe.

the little part of the v goes on the inside not the outside.

  5. well i took everything apart and it's not a tie rod lol.. the bottom rear a-arm mount closet to the cab has bent into the frame about 1/4"- 3/8" any idea on somebody who could pull this out and brace it before our Turkey day trip is cancelled?

my old one was like that, i never worried about it never got worse.

it can be pulled though and then gusset both sides

  6. First off im NOT trying to get paid...and second off...like i said before...text book sais that the spread should be more Negative (left) to compensate for road crown...you want a car to slightly pull to the left for that reason BUT on a full size truck you can have a Positive spread and it wont make a difference you wont feel it like as if it was on a smaller car. and as far and the 3.2 to 3.7 degree ...i was referring to and increase of .5 degree bushing... to get it closer to 4 that is the idea number if you look at the specs he provided 5 is in the middle...so he needs to add .5 degree to whatever bushing is already installed on his truck. and IT IS the split the is the problem. a .9 degree positive pulls right...and .-9 degree pulls left....anything over .5 pull whether it be positive (right) or negative (left)...just positive will be more noticeable because of road crown...I am giving him the right advise .....after all i am a master tech of 15 years and worked on thousands of cars...not just FORD

    :beer_bang:

then you should know what you are saying is total crap and shouldn't need a textbook????maybe shop manual?????

i guess you are right.:dope::slap::MBdance::banghead:

but maybe you should try aligning a car sometime, you will find out that .5 caster split is not the magic #

    especially on a ford,much less a truck

you should check out wyotech or uti

  7. sorry i cant help you with that one..i live in apple valley...but i can tell you that you need .5 degree bushing on either side...preferably on the right...now im not sure what bushing if any you have already but what ever it is ad .5 degree to it and tell the tech to make the appropriate adjustments. IE(if you already have a 3.2 degree...you want to put in a 3.7) you want the 3.6 to be closer to 4.1... that would make the caster spread. +.4 and that would make your car drive straight.

    BEER ME....LOL :laughoff::lol::laughing: :beer_bang:

actually 4.1 0n the right will still go right.....WRONG AGAIN

you need the 3.6 to be about 5.0 ....with 4.5 on left

and no such thing as a 3.2 or 3.7 degree cam. are you trying to quote a book or pamphlet????????? AND AGAIN

also it is not the split that is the problem is is the direction of the split ........... AND AGAIN

you should reread my post you might learn something.

  8. sorry i am a ford master tech it stomps your ase lol

the caster is the problem 4.5 on left and 3.6 on right will pull right

have them put about 4.0 on left and 4.5 - 4.7 on right and it will go straight

and also no charge for my tech knowledge LOL
