Coroner Case #701209125; On 12/27/2012, at 11:35 PM, a 911 call was received reporting an off highway vehicle rollover in the Dumont Dunes Recreational Area. Paramedics from Baker Ambulance responded and found the driver ********, a 40 year old resident of Apple Valley, dead at the scene. ******** was ejected from the vehicle. The two passengers in the vehicle were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. (12282012 CN 1624)

Who did you have do the work? It turned out great. I am looking to replace my dash with something very similar.

I needed to run the subi after some upgrades before taking to Idaho. If it runs in Death Valley during July, it should do ok in St Anthony's.

It was definately hot, my car was running about 215 degrees. The dunes were perfect and worth the the hot weather.

Just got home from Dumont, in mid July. We arrived around at 4PM, truck temp showing a hot 108. Got unloaded and did some duning. Comp Hill was like carpet, gentle rolling terrain near the top. Overall a good afternoon ride. Packed up and made it home safely.

I started off adding a console extension connecting the lower console and the dash. I just finished installing an outfront intercooler, scoop and bumped the boost up from 12 to 17lbs. Then a fresh tune and dyno from John @Outfront. The car is running good, and ready for the Idaho trip later this month.

I'm in for a suspension overhaul.

The family was camped with our group, he has a fractured arm. They did have him immobilized onto a backboard and transported to the hospital.

I am heading out Thursday morning, the family is coming after school Friday. We are staying until Monday.
