  1. By the way the builder of this car  took desert dynamics/buggy works chassis to china, had it ripped off to the tee ( up to the b piller, front end, front and rear arms) added king knock off piggy packs and is selling it right in front of everyone. Look closer at arms and front end! (that's bullshxt):lol:

  2. what took you so long to notice ronco

been busy lowering my car

in all seriousness if somebody is referencing the monster truck statement towards me, the car i was showing says mock up all over the friggin arms on the car. It does'nt even have the right rear shocks on it. I know about center of gravity, body roll, etc. etc. etc. And if not directed towards me cool, i'm still working on that car.

  3. Kartek sells a bronze bushing, tilt wheel set-up. I've used quite a few but they are notorius for becoming a little sloppy (they move up and down a little) post some pictures of what you have.

  4. let me know if you need any Artic Cat Parts

    :shout:

Roll Cages w/led tail lights, Nerf Bars, Leg Restraints, Billet Pedals, Billet Knobs, Chrome side Panels, Chrome Grills, Lower rock guards, Pass side foot rest, HID mount tabs (stock or aftermarket cage) etc.....

    :D

  5. well i went in for just a motor :thumb:

i ended up getting a whettle ring and pinion in my 4s improved shifting forks new and improved dog legs

and a tranny cooler, updated battery box and different battery optima twin 6 volt , new larger radiator with twin fans and repositioned, changed out light bar and upper lighting to an open lightbar with 4 baja desighns 10" hids and acuator rod to move light bar up and down ( monster man was my hero on that) re vamped fuel system and replaced a shock seal. and got 6000 grind marks and reweld marks to add this stuff. and rewired the entire a$$ end of the car.

    happens every time.................... :porn: :beerpint:

hi my name is bob and im a sand rail junkie........................................................

You need a hand with anything let me know I'll bring my monkey :beercheers:

  6. Nice looking car from what I can see. :beercheers: As far as wiring goes I'm a little burnt out on that right now  but I'll look at your schematic real soon.

Oh, and as far as your budget goes here is a simple rule of thumb!

Total dollars spend on buggy + total hours in garage + total lack of time spent with mamma :blury:

    =

a whole lot of :lol::dope: A diamond ring + 2 trips to an expensive resort spa + 2 full body rubs by you and a new car.

Let me know if I missed anything fellow duners

    :blink::blink::lol::blury:

  7. If he has money to burn, why not put in a Fortin or Albins, the S4 seems like a bad choice for the weight and horsepower.

It's an S4D that we put in and not exactly my idea  I set out to put series 30 drive flanges on the car and later realized :booty: that doug did not use series 30 flanges. Turned around and ordered an S4D so that I could use series 30 and after trans kit was paid for, realized that I didn't want to break the tranny with such a big c.v.. Long story short ended up putting in the S4D with 934/5 flanges. Rather destroy the c.v. than tranny. The c.v.'s on the 1150 h.p. car of antonio's only last about 4 days and are completely mushroomed out inside from torque. (not broken just wiped out) So there it is! it sucks how things go together sometimes. Better luck next time. We'll see what happens. Wish me luck! :whacky101:

    Straight from mendi's web site........

Since its' introduction the "S" series Mendeola Sequential gearboxes have been an absolute SMASH!! It's considered the standard to which all other squentials are measured. The "S" series shifting rivals any other gearbox, LMP to GT! The "S" series with its' 19mm wide reverse gear and removable face plates makes maintenance a no brainer. The full contact shift drum and billet shift forks are designed to be off-road rated. The S-4 platform is equiped with 1.090" wide driving members. The S-5 driving members have .800" wide faces. This fact dictates that the S-5 torque rating be derated by 20-25%. The 8-lug dog rings are utilized in heavy torque loads 450-650 lbs ft. applications (to 7500 RPM). The 6-lug componentry handles medium torrque loads 250-400 lbs ft. and high RPM (to 9500.) The optional 935-300M drive stubs handle any application.

Currently the S4 and S5 are the most used transaxles in big horsepower sand buggies, outnumbering ALL other transaxles, combined.

From Glamis to Baja, they are the Royal Family of Gearboxes!

  8. :dunno: I do not know how to build a sandrail :idiot: Here is where I learned how to build the Hooptie (see sandrail talk) I'm so ashamed I had help. I just can't suppress the lies anymore, it's killing me :bawl:

  9. That car looks badass. 1250 Hp though? come on!!! :freakin_nuts:

IF it has that much, I REALLY doubt that trans is gonna hold. :freakin_nuts:

Hooptie huh? Nice looking car. Thanks for sharing, monsterman.

YEAH it does, holy crap. :laughoff:

I just put the same motor in another one of my cars and it's putting 938 to the rear wheels. :banghead: I just depends on how much you want to spend (of someone elses money of course). I love spending other peoples money. It makes me warm and fuzzy inside. as for the purple car, sorry, it also has flames ground into the panels just can't see them in the shop.
