When you run the fridge on propane all night, how long does your bottle last?

I've got 2 7-1/2 gal tanks... so just about forever. Several camping trips, anyways.

I know how to wire them, I just wanted to know if I need to run 4 to have the capacity to run the heat all night and the fridge, lights and whatever else. Or are two 12v blue tops the way to go?

I'm just running 2 6V golf cart batteries from Sam's Club (for now). They've run the lights and stereo all evening and the heater all night and I've still been able to start the generator in the morning. I run my fridge on propane all the time when dry camping though.

bought ours at Sams Club.. In stock ... they call them golf cart batteries. You will be amazed at the stamina and holding power.

As a first timer to Dumont, all I can say is that place ROCKS! Best Turkey day in my life. Even the wife says she never wants to do Thanksgiving at home ever again. Didn't make it out to the DDR meet and greet, next time I'll be sure to do that.

We went with 2 other friends with toy haulers, and had a nice little camp, I think in about zone A-2. We were behind a group that built a huge projection screen. The Guitar Heroes and karaoke were great entertainment from our view.

Everything was awesome, from hanging out at Comp Hill, to the sand drags, and especially the riding. We all ate too much, drank just enough ('cuz too much is just right), and rode until we couldn't ride anymore.

This is getting unreal!!

What happened to just going out and having fun with the family and NOT worrying about your S*#T getting stolen!!

We have the same problem at motorcycle rallies. The thieves generally aren't real members of the fraternity. They just go where the bikes, or in this case, the off-road toys are. Then it's just a matter of opportunity.

Hope you catch the effin scumbags before the cops. Give them a life changing experience.
