there were several 07 ranger owners who were less than satisfied with the quality of the transmissions. the PRC forum was jammed up with posts about how fast their belts were wearing.

some figured it out on their own, and it came down to a couple of things....on some, the wrong counterbalance weights were used, putting too much pressure on the belt and burning it up quickly.

others, the belt wasnt installed correctly in the first place, off center, and got completely shredded within a matter of minutes

The local polaris dealership had one that did that. they drive their sxs's out in front of the store every day, then put them away

after a couple days of doing that, they had one fail that wasnt adjusted properly

once the owners addressed these problems, the belt wear issue ceased...BUT shame on polaris for allowing CRAP to roll out of their factory that wasnt put together correctly

It was nice as hell for so long too! I thought we were gonna have an unseasonably cool summer. The back lot at work yesterday was already up to 120 degrees. yeesh

:shout: Some good news! Diesel is getting back down closer to $4/ gallon. It has dropped over 20 cents a gallon over the last month here in Henderson.

Remeber the 5 page thread where there seemed like there was no end in site with the rise in prices? The thread started when I was bitching about 3.99/ gallon. Then by the end of it people were already paying well over $5/ gal. :ah:

Boy this Hampton Inn is boring... Change of plans I am in Cypress CA. working at Seal Beach. Will probly drive up to Long Beach for some beers and grub... Weather is great and for some reason theres fireworks about a mile away that I can see from the room. boring, boring, boring so I suppose I'll put in some OT and make some money.
