  2. I have everything done except the feeder line laid. The trench is dug too. I have the materials for that, and the wires run in conduit for the light switch and swamp cooler on a GFI circuit, the outlets on another 30 amp circuit and the 220 outlet for the compressor in the shop. No manual labor needed, just someone to draw me a diagram of how to finish it up. The older main box (20 plus years) has red, black, white and bare ground. I guess code now wants, black, white, green. Don't know how to hook to the main and how to hook up the sub pannel with the new color codes.:censored: Any help greatly appreciated and a nice lunch in Henderson, cold beer, or a strong Rum and Coke, or water or soda, your choice, for the one that comes forward. I can take pictures of the sub pannel and the main pannel if you think it can be done on line too. I have my pernit and want to finish it up so I can get ready for the kick off day and thanksgiving weekend. I've been on this shop since Jan of this year and this is the final chore I have. I am just running three #2 wires to the shop because I have the ufer ground rod in place. Just don't know for sure how to hook the wires up.

    Thanks,

    Pat

    College and 95-Mission Hills.

Send me some pictures and i`ll draw how to hook it up and send them back to you.Inless you have already figured it out or someone else has done it for you.It is easy to do once you see it done.Or you could go to the home depot and get one of those COOL Joe home owner video`s and try,NOT!!!!!!!!

  4. These V-10 are not really that bad of trucks. The only problem that i'v had had, was a small fuel tank and the torque it needs too climb some of the bigger inclines. but all in all....... it's been a good truck and it's the only one that hasn't gotten stuck in are group. In all dune trips that we have taken

  6. If I remember right, a little 6 cylinder was whooping up on everyone. Anyone see that little greenish blue car run?

i`ve seen a red lt 2 seater with a honda v6 with a turbo that was really fast.it was racing these hill dragster rails last year at night on pres. weekend & it was whoopin them not by much but he was still the first one to the top.my buddie asked him what he was running.cause we could tell it was a v6 but what kind?now since my buddie has a honda v6 in his rail now he has a turbo on it.oh yeah and a new trans. i guess he didnt let off or something and broke it.

  7. thanx for picking up those tire's for us. Sounds like you guy's had a great trip. Wish we could have gone, but the next trip for sure. Ha did you guy's see that rail running around b-10, with only three wheel's on :thumb:

your a funny guy :loser: .you think the 3 wheels are funny you should stop by my house and see all of the other stuff i broke.but your probably changing diapers, hope you sleep well. :DDRrocks::driver:

  8. Came home monday and got to the bottom of the pass at about 3:00 and hit some pretty horrific winds. Must've been 50-60 mph. We lost the tent out of the bed of the truck. It wasn't tied down but it wasn't just sitting on top. Lost it going over the river and train tracks. Saw all of the trucks pulled over in Fontana and a few that had flipped over. A truck and T/H flipped over too.

Just wondering if any SoCal peeps went through it.

i did and my buddie was 30 mins. behind us and he thought it was like going through a war zone.his wife was crying,my wife did pretty well.i know i was going through the cayon and out of nowhere we were hit with those strong gusts of winds.i hate towing in wind like that but what you gonna do.i heard that the wind was going to be stronger on tuesday.hope everyone made it home safe.

  9. we should be taking iraqi oil.

    why

we saved them from a brutal dictator

    we have lost lives

    we won the war

    spoils of war

they should be paying us to offset the cost

its been that way since wars were waged

you win the land is yours

kuwait should be selling it to us at half the price

    why

we saved there country and took it back for them

    we lost lives

it was our money that waged that war

britain russia had to pay us back for our material ( lend lease act )

opec needs to be broken up

venezuala where we get a majority of our oil should be stabalized or sactioned and blockaded

    just my opinion :DDRrocks:

    I`M WITH YOU

  10. Due to the $H!TTY experience my wife and I had in Vegas back in the beginning of October because of a concert cancellation, I thought I would share some FACTS surrounding the cancellation, and the lack of information flowing from Ceasers in a timely manner that would have allowed us to cancel our hotel rezzies, and not spend over 1K in a trip to Vegas for nothing. I DID write a letter to the LV sun about this too...

i am going to touch on what i felt were the important points of my letter.

. in my letter, I pointed out that the first press release of the concert cancellation came from the Branson, MO newspaper on Thursday, Oct 4th @ 4pm CST, which is 2pm pst. (google news page is a GREAT resource)

this establishes when Ceasers actually knew that there would be no concerts for the ENTIRE WEEKEND.

Had we been notified ANY time on Thursday, we would have been able to cancel our rezzies with no FINANCIAL concequences, or zero money out of pocket for us.

. On Friday, October 5th, before we left town @ 10 am, I checked our E-mail, and the Ceaser's website for information pertaining to the Celine concert. Nothing pointed to a cancellation of any kind. The information provided on the site led me to believe that everything was still a go. We left B-field @ 10 am

. We were in Vegas for over 24 hours before we found out about the cancellation. We only found out about it, because the wife and I wanted to familiarize ourselves with the layout of Ceaser's, where to park, where the concert hall was, etc etc. Then, by chance, my wife decided she wanted to look @ the coach stores in Ceaser's mall, and eat lunch @ the cheesecake factory.

By chance, we happened by a kiosk that was attempting to give a free show tickets for this or that show, and my wife informed the gentleman that we already had plans. He then told us that the concerts were cancelled all week. I thought he was joking, so i made a joke back, and we continued on.

we happened by the Celine store in the mall, and on about 1,200 square feet of glass storefront, there was an 8.5x11 paper abstractly placed that outlined the cancellations. meanwhile, the show inside the mall was still going on, like the concerts werent cancelled...as a matter of fact, the paper was the ONLY ADVETISEMENT we saw telling us of the concert cancellation.

. When we got home on Sunday, October 7th, I found an Email sent by ticketmaster @ 330pm on Friday notifying us of the show cancellation and refund information as well.

all this information left me with a few questions......

    1. Why were we not notified in a timely manner? Ceaser's knew as early as 2 pm Thursday, and quite possibly earlier than that, yet their website NEVER mentioned the cancellation.

    2. Why would ticketmaster wait almost 25 hours AFTER the cancellations of the show to inform their customers? it isnt like all of Vegas goes and sees her night in/nigt out! at least 90% of the ticket holders were from out of town, i would venture to say. Did ticketmasters get the cancellation info from Ceasers, and "sit on it" or was Ceaser's at fault for not notifying ticketmaster in a timely manner?

    3. What possible motive would Ceaser's have for not notifying the ticket holders in a timely manner of the cancellation?

    ANSWER......

    money....

When I got nowhere fast with Ceaser's and my questions, I thought to send a letter to the Sun outlining only the facts stated above, and what I beleived to be the problem, not presenting it as fact

for three weeks I didnt hear from the Sun.

I began calling every day, leaving messages with anyone who would take a message.

I finally got a call back from the editor on Monday, regretfully informing me that they wouldnt run my letter. He reason was that it was more of an opinion that a factual letter.

I was able to read between the lines. when he quit talking, I said he could go ahead and say "it"

he asked me what I was referring to. I said, "you can tell me that the casinos and resorts are your biggest subscribers, and that to run this letter could possibly put that in jeopardy." there was silence on the phone, just as i expected, and I told him to have a nice day.

I even went as far to e-mail the city council, to which i still have yet to get a reply....

makes me wonder....if they are willing to chump a couple out of towners for over a grand in one weekend, what are they pulling on the town residents???

    just some food for thought....

GOOD FOR YOU!!!I WOULD FELL THE SAME WAY,FOR ME THIS WOULD BE HARD TO JUST GET OVER UNLESS THEY MADE IT RIGHT IN SOME WAY AND THATS FAIR.WASNT KINDA LIKE ONE OF THOSE THINGS YOU DO WHEN YOUR MARRIED.CAUSE I KNOW I HAVE TO DO A COUPLE OF THINGS MY WIFE WANTS TO DO EVERY YEAR BUT LOOK AT WHAT SHE PUTS UP WITH.

THATS WHY I ALWAYS KEEP A LOADED SHOT GUN IN MY ROOM CAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW-BUT I DO KNOW THIS I DIDNT KEEP A LOADED FIRE ARM UNTIL WE GOT HOME FROM DUMONT AND THE NEXT MORNING I WENT OUT TO MOVE MY WIFES CAR AND NOTICE IT WAS A MESS AND IT WASNT LOCKED THEN REALIZING THAT IT HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO BUT THE WERID THING WAS THEY ONLY TOOK OUR GARAGE DOOR REMOTE AND LEFT THE CDS AND $80.00 IN THE ASH TRAY AND THEY HAD PULLED THE ASH TRAY OUT AND WHEN I TALKED TO MY NEIGHBORS THEY TO HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO BUT THEY STOLE THEIR TOOLS,CDS,CHANGE OF THE ASH TRAY AND WHAT EVER ELSE SO I THINK SOMEONE WHAT I HAVE IN MY GARAGE.I ALMOST HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY NO MORE REMOTES IN THE CARS AND NOW MY GARAGE DOORS ARE BOLTED DOWN AND I HAVE A LOADED SEMI AUTOMATIC SHOT GUN WAITING FOR THE STUIPED PIECE OF CRAP HOPEFULLY I NEVER HAVE USE IT...SORRY FOR MY LLLLLONG STORY
