  1. I am the second owner. a few seasons ago I fried the rings while at Dumont.

Needs new piston/rings... AKA Top End job. I have yet to get around to the repair. I'm now not interested in doing the repair, Ive moved onto different hobbies. The Engine is all original, never opened. The front forks are from a 1985 200X, which gave it more travel and a skinnier tire, better handling. Clean California Title also :)

$500.00 to any DDR member :)

  2. So, on 5-21-11 I riding on some dune and I seen a black object sticking up. Lo and behold a Verizon cell phone. Pretty clean too, when I get back to camp, I plug into my charger. Minutes later the phone powers on! ! Crazy huh. I look at the call list. FEB.20TH was the last call and text. " headed out to dunes, see ya soon "

    Ha ha.

I push send on the last number dialed and the damn thing still works! Phone rings, girl answers and whataknow. Its her spare phone.

3 months worth of riding and weather. Phone is still kicking unharmed :)

  3. lean back and pin it!!!!

:mc: O.K. So, today I rode threw APEX . lots of new sand from the winds. I took the advice on leaning back and hitting the fuel !!! I must say, Much better handling then sitting on the tank.. Only down fall was speed... Once I "plained" it was great... but f*cking fast too !! haha.. It added a good ruch to the whoops and razor backs :) hahaha..

    Thanks for the tip.

  4. Thanks for the advise guys. Lean back and pin it !! hahaah.,. Hell yeah. makes turning kinda hard.. hahaha. Nice YZ !! I know the KLR is not designed for dunes. But neither was my Dodge Ram and I climbed Comp with it : ) !! hahaha.. nothing like running 8psi in my tires and letting the Turbo Cummins do all the work : ) !! hahaha.. I'll look into the tire. thnx :rockwoot:
