  2. I have a 2007 2500hd duramax...2005 raptor looks more to momma's liking..with the fuu..fuu...interior howver the 5-er is more spaciuos and from what i've been told easier to pull..sorry momma..thanks for the in put ..glad i found you guys...(D.D.R. TO THE RESUE..) THANKS. :laughoff:

Either one of these rigs are going to require a lot of truck. a 1 ton (legal) will pull either. a 3/4 ton with airbags (prob. not legal, but lots of peeps do it) will also do the job.

Having pulled both types, I would go for the 5-er EVERY time. The are more stable and aren't as prone to swaying as the pull-behinds.

I have a GearBox 5-er and absolutely love it. Lots of gadgets and very roomy. They are heavy though. Do you have a Diesel or gas?

  3. Got the o.k. to join the ranks of a toyhauler owner this week. But a bit confused,I have been wondering if a pull trailer or fifthwheel..theres a 2004 35' fifthwheel gearbox thats in good shape for its years and theres a 2005 33' raptor in good condition thats caught my eye. The raptor doesnt have the bedroom size or the shower to my liking, but is more camping friendly with kitchen counter space and has a1 1/2 year warranty left on it. the fifth has a nice bedroom and corner shower with room to pick up the soap..lol..any advise...raptor 1000$ cheaper. :MBdance::beat:
