Go to this web site and it will tell you the gas prices around town. www.vegasgasprices.com We paid $3.49 for diesel at the 7 eleven on Nellis and Las vegas blvd on Saturday.

I have a 2002 Dodge 2500 and Mcgyver just bought a 2007 Dodge 3500 mega cab. They are very reliable trucks.

my ? is how does diesel hit 3.30 a gallon and 87 stays at 2.80 . big brother knows diesels get better milage ,so hit them first :mc_smiley:

I found diesel yesterday at the Rebel on Flamingo/Nellis for $3.19. I live in North Las Vegas and it's $3.49 to $3.53. I don't understand why the price is so different!

The races today were great! The weather was horrible! Very cold and windy. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I had some e mails from one of the vendors today and he(they) were unhappy with the amount of silt/dust this weekend that seemed to hang around their area. My suggestion to him was that maybe we make an area like the district at Green Valley Ranch and make it pedestrians only. Split the vendors onto both sides and rope/block both ends with parking on each end. Then have the water truck come thru in the AM and give te walking area a little blast to keep the dust down.

His statement was that people liked to cruise the vendor's row. That's what's causing the dust in my opinion so if we make it a walk way it would certainly help.

Also by putting them across from each other it makes it a easier walk and people will spend more time which could equal more sales. What are your thoughts?

I think that having people park at each end and having to walk is a great idea. Alot of the dust were from people going 50mph in that area. They need to post speed limit signs.

Were you guys at Cold Creek over the weekend?

We had a 2003 20' Carson Funrunner for 4 years till we upgraded to a 5th wheel in March. We never had a problem with it. I have a Dodge Ram 2500 and it towed ok ,they do get pretty heavy when they are fully loaded. I think you can find one cheaper. We sold ours for $8500.00.

Just for the record, that was the worst laughlin race i have ever been to ( and i,ve been to every one) coarse was only 6 miles, and not one place to spectate other than the grands stands for 20 bucks !!! or over on the hill in the 2 puneey grand stands. Sunday a nice steady 30 friggin mile an hr. wind in yo face all day.

I love over priced "desert" races in alaska (sweet) Sal fish has out done himself this go-round :mc_smiley: :mc_smiley:

Has anybody used this stuff in a late model diesel :freakin_nuts: ? I see it at more gas stations now and I was thinking of trying it when and if it gets to be cheaper than regular diesel. Has it proven itself to anybody out there :freakin_nuts: ?

There is a sinclair gas station on durango that sells it. I got gas there last week but I didn't know it was biodiesel till I read about it in the newspaper that they were selling it. I didn't see a separate pump for it. My truck ran the same. I paid $2.93 but I went by there today and it's now $3.01. So what happened to it being cheaper???????
