  1. Well....it is with great sadness but excitement that we will not be attending the Regatta this year. Our son Joshua is a wrestler in HS and we will be headed to CBL this weekend, the next step to get to State finals. He is doing GREAT this year and we couldn't be more proud!

Have a wonderful time, we are bummed we will miss it, but know it's for a great cause!

  3. No powder puff. Girls...show some courage and race with everyone else. Each class is open to all riders. We already have alot of classes as it is. What's next, everyone with blue eyes and blonde hair race together?

Is there a smiley to flip you off Pete? I am soooo not willing to race with a bunch of grown men who are out for blood :freakin_nuts:

  4. ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS!!!!!

In my conversations with Tres, the idea behind this is to have running stock 70's, with no motor work done (i.e. 88 kit, etc) that is at the Regatta eligible for a motor upgrade. We will be doing a whole video on this, a before and after clip, and an install clip to show just how easy it is to do a motor swap. We will be video interviewing ALL the raffle participants before the drawing and then after as well.

Hope this clears up any confusion of what is being considered a "stock 70".

If Tres wants to allow non-running 70's I'll let him pipe in, but that is not what we discussed when the idea was being tossed around.

  5. OK, soooo I have tried to register and give up. Something about cookies and crap and I didn't ask for cookies

So here is the deal, we will register when we get there. But here is what I am ordering so you can account for it:

    Joshua - registering to race

    Chris (bustin-bs) - photos & video

Carol (Superstar70) - photos & video and S&S (do I need to register for this?)

    Smokin' Al's lunch special x 4 people

Most likely shirts, just gotta get a count from the boys. Probably 2 (L & XL).

I think that's it. Now if anyone can walk me through making the store work I'll register ahead of time, otherwise I'll do it on Thursday/Friday when we get there.

I am bringing 2 tables and will have Chris grab the cones, shovel & rake (We will roll in on Thursday afternoon/evening). I may have caution tape too if it's needed. Let me know :)

  6. I can buy an entire ssr 125 used for $150. question is do these motors bolt right up to the 70 like the lifans or not? thanks

If the motor is horizontal it should fit, check and see what type of engine it is.

    ZongShen Engine

    Jialing Engine

Most if not all pit bike motors will fit, you will still need:

    Intake

    Exhaust

  7. Pit Bike Motor/Engines-

The SSR motors you are referencing to are horizontal motors, I did a quick search to see what motors you are referring too.

    ZongShen Engine

    Jialing Engine

These are horizontal motors and should fit, of course the regular mods will be required intake exhaust. If it has electric start then the usual mods battery tray etc.

After reviewing the prices of the SSR bikes buying a motor would be cheaper then purchasing the bike as a whole. Of course I am looking at the 125cc motors in them….

  8. I just got off the phone with my girlfriend, she left for the day and is now back in camp. River is passable, but it is ROUGH!!! She was towing people across in her lifted F250 and one rig they had to use 2 trucks for, so it is going to be a rough ride. Be careful, be safe!! More rain is supose to start Tuesday night and go into Wednesday morning and drop 1 - 1 1/4 inches in the desert.
