Sorry I haven’t checked this post in a while. Where do you live? I live in Vegas so if you’re local I can meet you somewhere. If not we’ll have to work something else out.

Thanks Ryan. You’re a standup guy. I really appreciate you taking the time to meet my brother in Vegas today so I could get my glasses back. I thought they were long gone.

I owe owe you a cold one next season in Dumont. Thanks again 👍👍

  2. It was a fun weekend. I was camped with Mike and with him at the hill Friday and Saturday. His car is fast for sure. What's the best is when they roll up and see it's a V6 😀. I had my new car out this weekend and can hang with him but he pulls me at the top. I only made a couple of passes on Saturday night since I had a leak in my dry sump tank. Hopefully I will have it fixed before the round up. Looking forward to meeting some new buggy peeps.

  3. Hi everyone. After a 8 year layoff of the dunes we are finally coming back out Thanksgiving weekend. 👍. The last time I was out was with my (long since gone) Long Travel Rhino when I ran into Pete and the DDR crew ( also met them at Havasu during the annual trip). Well had to sell the Rhino many years ago due to kids bad judgement (long story). We now have a Tatum Black Widow and are heading out For Thanksgiving.

It's been a while since I have been to Dumont so I have some questions,

    - can you get passed at the gate ?

    - how is the road coming in. (Big RV with a 24' trailer)

    - are there good and bad places to camp.

I hope to meet some new dune friends as we are the only ones in our group that like off-roading.

I will try and get a picture of my rig and Buggy when I get to my computer.

    Thx, Mike.

  4. I need some measurments off of a STOCK rhino.

I need to know the width

I need to know the overall Length.

Measurement from front bumper to back of rear tire.

Measurement from rear bumper to front of front tire.

Im trying to figure out of I can get a rhino into a 06 CHEVY 2500 HD LONGBED with either the tailgate up or off. I cant tow my toyhauler with the tailgate down.

Will a long travel Rhino fit in the back of the same truck mentioned above?

I know a stock Rhino will fit in the back of a long bed truck. Seen many guy's do this at Havasu. No way with a Long Travel kit since it also widen's the rhino by 6". Call Brian over at Long Travel. He can help you out with all the info you need.

  5. yep, that thing is sweet Buster :finger:

I got to see it this last weekend. Now THAT'S a sweet rhino :finger:

    Later......

  6. Thanks alot you guy's. I really appreciate the offers. I am going to leave Valencia tomorrow late morning and should be rolling in around 2:00... If you see me driving around wave me down. I will have my blue Long Travel Rhino and my daughters quad on the trailer. (31' Class C MH and and trialer)

I am always down for meeting new people and having fun.

    Thanks again, Mike.....

  7. I am heading out this weekend (Fri-Sun) with just my daughter and me. Since I have only been to Dumont once (It was with a bunch of people) last new years weekend, and I am going to be alone, where is the best place to park? I will be in my RV and a small trailer.

Glad I found this site. Looks cool... :beercheers:

    Thanks.....
