  1. My family and friends had a great time and from what I am hearing we will be back next year with more people! Smokin Als' was awesome, and all the great people made the weekend a very enjoyable event for the whole family.

I liked the long track but the 10 laps combined with multiple classes wore me out before the main ever started! If I could do it all over I would have just picked one class and stuck with that and then the 10 laps would have been fine. I got confused with the schedule and missed the second heat race for the modified so I had to start in the back for the main and if I would have been in better shape It probably would have taken almost all 10 laps to work my way to the front from the rear.

Thanks again for another awesome REGATTA!

  2. What gearing did you start with (14-36)? What is it now?

I will be returning with my stocker from last year, but I have installed 8" aluminum wheels with holeshot tires, a race cam, removed the baffle from the exhaust, and rejetted the carb to try and even the playing field against the 88s'.

  3. Can't wait! I'll be bringing one more this year: my stock one from last year and my new 125 Lifan build. I also have a buddy that is bringing his stock 70, it is spider man themed and can be seen on DRATV's photos labeled " Spidy". He built it for his grandson in Utah , thats why he didn't make it last year. His grandson let him borrow it for the winter months so he can attend the regatta this year!

  4. Those Chinese carbs. are junk! Mine kept losing parts and bending valves, so I replaced it with a mikuni. If you are interested you can have mine for parts or use. It still works and I think everything that can fit down the intake and cause damage has already done so.

  5. I'm 220lbs. and I have a Lifan 125 standard clutch. It has plenty of power, the only problem I have is keeping the front tire on the ground! If I was building another I would get an auto clutch 110-125cc, their much better for putting around and you won't spill your beer when you pull the clutch to shift!

Here's my youtube video of my 125 lifan outrunning my 86' 200x.

  6. I too haven't stopped thinking about it, this was by far the most fun I have ever had at a motorsports event. I would just like to thank the organizers, sponsors, and participants for making this a fun family event. We will definitely be back next year.

Has anyone heard the date for Glamis regatta? I'm hooked,I can't get enough!

If Pete and Donkey need help building a track, I live in Henderson and would like to help and play!
