  1. This was my (when) weekend, I was leading a fast run when all of a sudden I was being awaken by my oldest son he said I was out for a few minutes. The only thing we can figure is that I had gone over a razor and the left front tire dug in and I cart wheeled a couple of times, there was two guys that had been following us that gave us some info and helped us out a lot and I wanted to thanks you two so much for all of your help. I am bruised up a bit and the quad is fine, but in 10 years of enjoying big D and this being our first and hopefully last mishap I think we are doing pretty good. Again I know the two guys are DDR members and I want to thank them for sticking around and helping!!!

  2. Last trip out we found a SD card at the north pole it has some Pics on it so I thought the person that lost it might want it back, so if you lost one and can tell me what pics are on it I will get it back to you!

  4. Im pretty sure we were quite thorough (sp) with explaining the hands and the costs. People were trying to come back after the fact and add to their hands. We felt after they left the table they needed to start over. Maybe that was our bad. I apologize for any confusion. We were definately trying to push the 5 for $50 to everyone

That worked out perfectly for my family-a poker hand per person. The wifey drew for me since I was working a checkpoint.

at our checkpoint, We took all five poker run cards from the people that had multiple hands. I took one and handed it to woody. He told the person draw a card. We then marked the poker run card and put the playing card back into the deck. Then went to the next hand. Everyone had the exact same chance. Wether it was a single hand player or a multiple hand player. FAIR IS FAIR/

And that's how it should be!! Not fair and too time consuming to do it any other way!

Maybe next year do it as a point system instead of a poker hand. Roll dice at one checkpoint, draw from dominoes, cards at another, etc. Prize for the highest points and one for the lowest. Cut and dry and no "I already drew that card, I want to draw again".
