  1. The car is packed and we are getting on the road tomorrow!!! I never knew you could pack so much shiz in a Honda Accord. Space bags kick a$$ and suck ballz all at the same time. If you have had the wonderful experience of paying $20 for an over-sized ziploc then you know my pain.

I want to thank everyone who replied. Shayne is looking forward to moving into her EMPTY apartment. She traded furniture space for clothing and dog space, so she is still on the hunt for furnishings. A couple of items we are looking for are:

Dresser, cheap TV( or if you need a storage spot for a good one :P ), couch or chairs, tables, etc...

Terry and Nick: Please shoot me a PM with some pricing info on the bed and other items and also pics if you have any.

Thanks again DDR peeps! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!:assblast:

Hi this is Shayne and Otis! We live in Brickell, Downtown Mia. Happy holidays!

Attention to all our Vegas DDR peeps! We are making the trek back to Vegas over the Christmas holiday.

(Miami is a third world country and we are OVER it :usa: ) We are driving back in order to move Shayne and Otis the deaf dog back to the motherland for nursing school. I am making my arrangements to follow shortly. We missed the Dunes but we missed our DDR family the most. :finger: We plan to arrive in town the 27th of December. Yes this DECEMBER!!!

We will be driving Shayne’s car back with no trailer so we are on the hunt for furnishings to fill her new GVR area apartment. The only things we have room for in the car is the deaf dog and some miscellaneous crap. So, if you have any furnishings that you are looking to get rid of, please let us know first. We are not looking to spend a lot of dough if any, as the cross country move and school costs have killed the furniture budget.

Please feel free to call or post as I will be checking my DDR daily!

Oh yea! If she can’t fit it in her car we might have to make other delivery arrangements.

We appreciate any and all help during this move and we look forward to our first dune trip with you all!!!

    Jasen, Shayne and Otis :xmas8:

  5. Ok here is the rest of the story I couldnt include in the original email due to the ongoing investigation on the truck. That has been wrapped up and the truck has been totalled. About two hours before said incident took place I was helping a neighbor launch his new jet ski. I backed down the ramp turned off the motor set the E-brake and put the truck in low gear. I pushed him off the trailer and walked back up the ramp to my driver side door as I grabbed the door handle the truck began SLIDING backwards down the ramp into the water. I hopped in fired it up and threw it in 4-low I dropped the clutch and held it to the floor as I began floating backwards. My neighbor looked back and said all he saw was the cab above water. I was able to drive the truck out of the water and get it home I parked it in the grass to let it dry and hopped on the jet ski to meet my neighbor. I figured there was nothing I could do within the next 30 min so I went for a quick jet ski ride and came home to the sherriff waiting on my dock and my truck plowed into my house and pool. At the end of the day it appears the salt water shorted out the ignition system and thats what caused it to start on its own. What a day. Friday the 13th KICKED MY a$$!!!!

  9. I am thinking about loading up the hauler and heading to the lake for a couple days (Tues-Thurs) of camping with out the luxuries of the sand, as I am unfamiliar with this no sand camping thing I am a little lost on where to go and where to camp in Havasu.(where to ride?) If anyone has some input let me know. I am also open to a nice hotel if any one has some good suggestions. Also where to go for food :laughoff: so I dont end up in the same lame a$$ :jester: place every one else in my position is patronizing. Thanks for your input. :laughoff:
