Utah lawmakers are not happy. Here is the link to the story: http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865564673/Utah-lawmakers-want-to-tangle-with-beetle.html

@LVBob...the sand looked good from what little riding I was able to do last weekend. Some areas had heavy ripples, sharp razorbacks (nothing that couldn't be smoothed out by plowing). I can't say anything about the top of comp or the superbowl since I didn't have a riding buddy along...I had to be content with a light cruise. I hope to see you there.

Depending on the year, your WW was either equipped with a Happijac or RBW bed lift system. Happijac has rails that run almost floor to ceiling and is chain drive. RBW's system used nylon straps and floated against the side walls with rubber wheels.
If you have the Happijac system installed, you can fabricate the bed platform (I'll be happy to send you drawings) if that's all you're wanting. If you want the sofa/bed combo, then yes, Warrior Lifestyles is the best option.
If you have the RBW bed lift, the sofa/bed option was installed on a specially designed frame. I'll check drawings to be sure.

Another option would be Baker Ice on the left about 3/4 of a mile after Mad Greek.

I'll be there. This past weekend was a bust. Wifey's clutch was slipping, no riding. Came home early. Coming back with a buddy. Look me up...I have a tow behind Tahoe and a black GMC Sierra. We should be near the entrance Banshee/Comp on the outside of the finger dunes. Plenty of beer on ice.

Still heading to up this weekend. It's looking like a 6:30 or so departure from Riverside tomorrow night unless wifey gets inundated at work. I am sooooooooooo jonesin'.

From BLM's website, although it sounds like a seasonal fire restriction that will be lifted come October based on past restriction lifts such as what was posted above by FE135. http://www.blm.gov/p...strictions.html
The following is taken from the link above: Permits are available through the CDD office, all BLM field offices, fire/ranger stations, and from all BLM patrol personnel.
So, until the permit requirement is lifted, a permit can be obtained from a BLM patrol at Dumont, assuming Yogi Bears' good buddy is on site.

Wifey and I will be up either LATE Friday night or EARLY Saturday morning. Leaving on Tuesday. So call it Oct 6, 7, 8 and 9. Temps are forecast for a high of about 90. I'll also be back up a few days later with the guys for the weekend of the 12th. We missed our trip last April, so have to get it in now.
June 15th- early morning ride at Dumont
