Jack I just picked my truck up this evening (2005 F350) had the head studs replaced, high pressure oil pump and heads milled. So far it seams to be running better then it ever has. Had 118000 miles on it and blew a head gasket because of the crap stock studs. Mike and Scott were great to work with. One thing to beware of is that they are very busy and it can take some time to get the job done mine was there for 3 weeks. They will not hurry just to get trucks out of the shop take the time to do the repairs right which is a good thing. Also for the work that was done Mike's price was over a thousand cheaper then another shop I got a quote from.

Underground Diesel has done work on my F350 fixed a problem that other shops could not find. Fair price and honest. I was told by other shops that my high pressure oil pump needed to be replaced over $2000.00. Underground diesel just replace the IPR less then $300.00

I just went to get by pass for the Halloween weekend from Johnny Walker the dates on the pass are October 28 - November 3. The Guy at Johnny Walker called the BLM and was told that the dates on the pass are the holiday dates. If you are getting a weekly pass only make sure you look at the dates it is for other wise you will need to get another pass. I guess the BLM is going to have the weekend after Halloween as the holiday.

I just got my sticker in the mail today.It took 9 days from the time I maied the paper work and check to the DMV. Also had my VIN checks done at Ridenow on Boulder highway now charge. Just make sure they get the VIN number right had to do one of the quads twice becuse Ridenow put a 5 for the letter S and i did not check before mailing the paperwork.

I use a Garmin etrex on my Rhino got it at Bass Pro shop. They sell the mount kits also.

When you say .. you can still get a ticket... do you mean for like speeding or can and will you get a ticket for not having the endorsement because your still in permit stage?

What I was trying to say was that as long as you only have the permit you are required to have some who has the endorsement in the vehicle with you. If you are pulled over and no one with you has the endorsement you can be issued a ticket. The question I need to get answered is can you show up for the drive test without someone who has the endorsement? Hopefuly they can answer that for me when I call and scheduled the drive test.

The cost to take the test is $25.00

Jim got an email from the DMV today ref the J endorcement process, they said you have to take a written test to get a permit first then make an appt for the driving skills test. They said not all DMV locations do the driving test so you have to check which locations have someone qualified and make an appt with them. They didn't say how long you had to have the permit for before you could take the skills test or what kind of restrictions came with the permit or anything like that.

I took the written test today at the Henderson DMV, the test is 20 questions and you can miss 4 questions. I did very little studing of the J&R endorcement handbook and passed. Next they will give you a permit that is good for one year, you can still get a ticket with the permit. You will need to call the North Vegas office to schedule your drive test. After Wed 2/24/10 the requirements for information you need to supply changes. You will be required to Have a orignal birth certificate or passport, your SSN card and 2 forms of proff of your address (bills that are mailed to your house in your name) Make sure you take this information with you or they will turn you around. The reason that I was given about this new requirement is due to Homeland security.

I have a 2006 Keystone NRG 23 front bedroom. Before I got my F350 I towed the toyhauler with my 2004 Armada with a tow package. Never had any problems just MPG was bad around 9 MPG. I have a Rhino with a custom 4 seat cage on it and it clears both the drop down beds.

Al if it is not to late I would like to order 2 full racks for Saturday.

First time going to Doumont over Presidents day weekend. Is there any where that you can fill up with water or do I need to fill up before I leave Vegas? I have heard that the Mad Greek in Baker will let you for a charge. Just want to find out before I go. Thanks

I have heard that the Cane Beds road to Coral pink is now paved. Also heard that the last five or so miles are dirt. Has anyone taken this road if the last five miles are not paved is it a good dirt road or do you need four wheel drive?
