  1. Anyone looking for parking for thier RV send me a pm. I live on 2.5 acres near the M Casino off St.Rose pkwy and Bermuda only a min from the 15. I have tons of room to park several trailers. Fenced in yard with security cameras. I can even plug in your RV when needed. And no restrictions on time when picking up or dropping off. Looking to get $125/month

  2. I work at a Ford dealer. What do you need to know?

I have heard some good and some bad things about the 450's. Like they are having motor problems. What are the problems you see. Is there anything new on the 2010 450's that is better or worse than the 09. Thinking about trading in my dodge 3500 for one. What's your opionion

  3. Who here in town does some good welding and fab work. I took my new rail out for the first time and figured out my first weak link in the system. One of the brackets that holds the a-arm on the rear broke. I think it was just a poor weld job but I want to weld and support it. It probably did not help that I was stuck in a witches eye and was dumpiung the clutch trying to get it out and even stood it straight up in the air once :beercheers:

Who here in town does this type of work

  4. I'm guessing your needle & seat (float level) is a dribbler, at least while running/vibration. The bowl to carb line between the slide and engine is for the power jet and you're seeing the fuel level rise there as well as the overflow. Might be dirt, old fuel residue or just worn. That's the 1st thing to check anyway. Good luck

I figured it was something in the float but was not sure if the Lectron has the same type of system (float with needle and seat). I have not had time to take it apart and figured I would get some advice before I start in case it was different than most carbs.

    Thanks

  5. I have a Lectron carb on my Rhino that is doing something new. Rhino runs good idles great top end is fine. Only problem is at idle after a few minutes it starts dumping fuel out the over flow. I also noticed that while at idle there is a tube that runs into the intake side of the carb from the bowls and as it starts to fill up that is when it dumps out the overflow that is located near the choke cable. Any ideas?

  6. Traded out a quad for a new toy. Its got a GSXR1000 motor.

Steers very different than I am used to. Do you guys think I need steering tires up front or is this just how these rail are??

  7. Yo Yamakiller if that was you that stopped by Sat night I'm sorry I passed out early. After 3 nights of partying hard and 3 days of duning hard I shutdown real quick after getting back from comp. I was exhausted and  too. We did a TON of duning that weekend, both quads and sandcars. :whoop:

Good seeing you and chattin at comp though. :slap:

It was not me but it was my rhino. I was too drunk to leave the fire  . My buddy took my rhino looking for some people to party with. Before comp we went to several camps trying to stir people up to goto comp. Most welcomed us, some were  for some reason. We drove into thier camp very slow and tried to talk to them but they did not like it. Oh well

  8. What blew me away this past weekend was the $10 for a lousy 8 lb. bag of ice!!! They were $1.70 or something like that at Valero when I rolled in there Thursday afternoon.

I know this has been said before but don't forget that guy has to drive out there, run generator non-stop 24 hours for what 3 days, pay to be there and pay a percent to the blm for every sale. How much gas would it cost you to drive back to baker and your time. Some people do charge a ton but most are resonable including DOGHOUSE.

  9. Do not go down in size. Go bigger if anything. 24's work very well. 22's work ok also but the quad has the power to turn the 24's without bogging down. I have 3 of these quads and have tried several different combos.

I have an extra set of 24's I will sell if you're interested. I stepped up to 26's on one of mine

  10. What is done to your rhino? I need all the help i can get with mine. Only mods ive done are jet kit and cdi.

I can also beat most big bore kits and my kit has been very reliable so far. No overheating or anything.

    Dan from Powerhouse built it

High comp piston, cam, new bigger carb, intake, exhaust, cdi, duner clutch kit.

I will be out there Halloween weekend if anybody wants to see it run. Its red with a big S on the hood and probably the only rhino out there with the bed off so it fits in my trailer.

Another thing that really helps out there is the tires. We all bought the extremes 7 paddle with smoothie fronts(and they have to be the wider version, they are selling some now that are narrow, needs to be the 9" wheel. Even a stock rhino can go straight up comp with no problems. They work much better than the v-cut paddles that I see on a lot of rhinos. We tested them all. If anybody is interested in these tires, there is a place in cali you can order cheaper than anyplace here in town. Its a guy on glamisdunes.com that sells them out of a Ford dealership

  11. rzrs are the fastest you would need a 720 kit in a rhino or bigger to keep up.

Not true...I can beat any RZR (stock bore no turbo)(even with straight paddles) with my stock bore :DDRrocks:

  12. I have a quad I bought without a certificate of origin. I own it and it is paid for but to get a certificate from the original owner is impossible ( i am the 3rd owner). I have a lien and basic ownership but nevada doesnt have titles they give on OHV's. So I am looking for someone to help me with the paperwork so I can sell this thing and get the rest of my money (its sold as of now but need cert).

    Any Ideas would be appreciated..

    Thanks

    Capt

If you have a lien release from the orginal buyer and a bill of sale you can goto any Kawi store and get a duplicate cert. It cost money but I just did it with Yamaha
