I figured I'd give you folks first dibs on buying it before I post on CL, (you always get folks who don't know what they're looking at, you know? ). I bought this for my wife used from a guy selling it for his sister off of CL in 2010. It looks pretty much the same now as it did then that is, well kept.I then purchased some sand tires locally and we went to Glamis with it once. We then went for a few trips out to the dry lake bed in boulder city and since then my girls became teenagers it's sat since then. I've since replaced the water pump seals, bought a new battery and changed the oil and filter and bought a new battery.
I cleaned the carburetor and it starts but it doesn't idle or run right? So you WON'T be able to take it for a ride. Though, you can hear it run. All it needs now is some new rear tires (or you can run the sand tires) and a new chain. But if you know how to tune the keihan flat top carb you will have a REALLY nice, low use 450 ready to ride, all for about 2k! As I say, my wife and the previous owner are females so you can imagine, it's not beat on. A close look at the pictures show this.I'm not in a rush to sell it so I'm firm on the price, $1700.I think it's really fair. 860-458-9697 Henderson
