  1. My daughter loves the Polar Express story and the Grand Canyon Railway does a reenactment of it. The train takes you to the "North Pole." The whole thing is at night, so we wont actually see the canyon, but we will see Santa. :thumb:

  2. Next month I am taking the family to the Grand Canyon. We are doing the whole railroad trip, seems pretty cool. We want to go see Sedona, but I don't know exactly where to go there. We just want to spend a half day there, take some pics and hang out. Does anyone know where a good spot to go is? Thanx :D

  3. The electric beds are nice because they are closer to the roof so you can put taller toy's in if need be... We got my samurai in Petes Toyhauler with no problem... the same samurai in a warrior w/ a pull down would not fit...

In a WW you can get a high clearance pull down bed. It gives you about 6 1/2 feet of clearance. Not many people know of that and you can fit just about anything under it.

  4. HEY I KNOW ITS BESIDES THE POINT... BUT IM WAITING FOR THAT POMONA SHOW YOUR TALKING ABOUT TO LOOK AT THOSE NEW MEGA LITES FROM EXTREME.. AREN'T THOSE MADE BY WARRIOR TOO? I REALLY LIKE THAT MEGA DINETTE THEY CAME OUT WITH... ANYONE ELSE SEEN THEM .... THEIR REAL EXPRENSIVE BUT THEY'RE SO NICE.....

    ANY THOUGHTS? :DDR_rocks!:

The Extremes are not made by WW, but they are owned by WW. You will see alot of similarities, but they dont have the same structure and warrenties. But they are cheaper.

  5. UFC beakdown:

Hughes beats Penn in round 3, TKO.

    Swick beats Louiseau by decision.

Evans beats Lambert, round 2 TKO.

Lauzon beats Pulver, round 1 KO.

    In a nutshell. :D

  6. 70' in nevada and 65' in cali.

If the trailer is over 10k then you need an endorsement. The bus doesnt require anything because its recreational.

And supposibly whatever you are towing is ok too because its a rec vehicle.

I dont know about NV, but in CA you would need a class B. Its required if the coach is over 40 feet.

  7. I'll stick with my Sandpiper. It has a walk around bed already, an it's an 06. :dunno:

They sound nice though. I'd liek to see some pics if ya have any. Any idea of price? Because Hustler bought an 07 I beleive with the billet package and that thing was like $42,000!!! I couldn't imagine the price tag on something like that. :thumb:

There's no pics that I have found yet, but I will take some when I go to RVIA next month. And God knows how much, but they will be up there for sure. And WW had walk arounds in the FSW model in 07, but now they all do.

  8. Best fight on UFC I ever did see! BJ penn is a kook! I'm glad he got his a$$ pounded...

I agree, I really did not want to see BJ as the champ, that dude is a chump. But the dude can fight (for only 2 rounds though)

  9. For those of you that did not see the Matt Hughes vs BJ Penn fight, I think you missed out on one of the greatest UFC fights I have ever seen! Hughes ended up winning in the 3rd round by referee stopage. I think the greatest thing about the fight was the fact that Hughes got the crap kicked out of him the first two rounds. Penn actually had Hughes in a Triangle choke and arm bar at the same time and Hughes held out for 30 seconds till the end of the 2nd round. I seriously thought Penn was going to win for awhile, but Matt did his classic ground and pound and tore BJ up! WHAT A FIGHT!!! :woo_hoo::beercheers::headbang1:

  10. Just thought that I would let everyone know that the new 08 WW are insanely sick. :beercheers: They have gotten rid of the Billet package and have gone to a new one called Distorted. The interior rivals interiors from very nice motorhomes. They now are putting hard wood cabinets in now too. I think the best upgrade is that they all now have walk around beds in the front sleepers! No more crawling over someone to get in and out of bed! :headbang1: They will be available for order at the RVIA show at Pomona, CA in October. And if you want to get a great deal on an 07, I think now would be the time to do it!

  11. When I was just a kid, my dad got suck in his 1983 32' Surveyor motorhome on Lone Rock Beach at Lake Powell. Anyone who has been there knows how soft the sand can get. As it started to sink in the sand he gave it everything it had, maybe a little too much, because the the motor mounts twisted. The motor was torn from the engine compartment and laid there under the motorhome, in the sand. As a kid I thought it would be great to have a couple more days at the lake, but I was wrong. My dad had me down there with him getting that thing back into place. All I can say is that when you are covered in grease and oil and it's 110 degrees outside that last place you want to be is rolling in the sand.

Anyways, he got the motor back in place and we made the 650 mile drive back home... with no problems!

  12. by from the internet departmant from most dealers and you'll save $$$$$$$$especially giant rv and even glamis haulers

Once again, I worked for Giant and I can say from experience that the internet is a good way to go if you are the type that knows what you want and don't want the hassle of going to the dealership until the end of the deal, but I would have killed to work in the internet department because they made a ton of money and not because they gave them away. I still believe that the best way (no matter how much people hate doing it) is to actually go to the dealership and sit down face to face with someone. Stick to a payment, not the out the door price. If you lowball the payment, and stick to your guns, most dealers will get surprisingly close to your payment, but stand your ground. The lower the payment, the lower the price, obviously.

  13. I believe shawn is back at the murrieta store or the one down that direction.. :D

He left the store in Montclair to go to Irvine. I worked with him at Montclair. He is a sales manager now and that's why he went to Irvine. But it's been a few months since I talked to him, so I don't know, maybe he is at Murrieta.

  14. HeadInjury from Glamisdunes.com will definatley get you the hookup on WW's :D

Yeah, I know Shaun (aka Headinjury). He is a cool guy and I would recommend him. As some other people have said, any time of the year is a good time. You just have to buy from the right people. If you don't want to drive all the way to Irvine, CA to see Shaun, you could always go see Tiffany at the Giant RV in Colton. She also hooks everyone up on WW :beercheers: .

  15. Well this is my 2cent's some won't like it. I have had a WW and it was junk the service sucked from wheeler's. I work with a guy who has a WW from Giant rv and has had several problems with them and service. The trailer I have now is an 05 Sandpiper fiver and after a year of use I think it's a piece of junk.

    ............................that's my opinion.

Knowing what I know now. I would go and find the cheapest trailer out there get more for your moneyand for the most part they all have the same appliances mfg. and are set up the same inside. Not such a big loss when you sell it.

My next trailer will likely be a Carson Trailer (fun Runner) they are a low end cheap trailer at a fair price.

After being in the toy hauler business, this post goes to prove my point. People have to understand that ALL toy haulers are built by hand, not machine. There are always going to be little problems with them, but some will have more than others. If you want a hauler, look at the structure (chassis), not the bling. And based on structure, WW takes the cake. In my opinion, Carson does not produce a very strong chassis and could give you structural problem down the line. But hey, the Carson beats what I'm sleeping in... the back of my van! :flipoff:
