barneycar Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I have a 06 wr250f and i want to up the compression to 14:1. will it last if i do this ? other mods are stage 2 cams, porting and the carb has been rejeted also have a 10 map ignition system. Quote

MAke sure to take a look at other parts of the bike like the gaskets and all to make it fail safe. may want to look at the crank also to make sure it can handle the higher compression and also getting it balanced. Should last for a while if done right and the power should be nice with the other upgrades you have on there already. Quote
