  1. I have to agree. One of my close friends has one at Amargossa and they have to fix it up everytime they go out their. NO RESPECT. :shocked2:

    .....and welcome to DDR.

ya we tried to save a man named Michael at Amargosa but it was too late. Its sad how things happen sometimes.

  2. Actually the more up and down shocks are mounted, the better. But I hear what you are saying. I personally still like the 5 link rear end like on my car instead of the a-arms SST uses.

TomPro and King might be close, but I'd say TomPro makes the best mini rail out there. He knows his sh*t and I've seen his cars go. They are badass. :dunno::thumbsdown: King makes a nice car too though.

So you think Tom Pro makes the fastest ones?

  3. yep... http://tomprodesign.com/

This car has been out the last few trips at comp. It is pretty fast. :laughoff:

    Damn those cars are sik!

How do they compare to King Sand Cars?

I have seen a lot of Sick Sand Travel Cars, the only thing I do not like is how the back shocks are mounted, they look to vertical to me.

  4. I love my ShortSandCar other than some issues with teh cheap a$$ spindles lately. :laughoff: Well actually I can't complain. The only other time I broke one was when I landed very wrong from a pretty high jump. I myself wouldn't go with a Sonic or Sandbullet. :laughoff:

I have heard very good things about KingSandCars, TomPro, and even SickSandTravel. I would still buy another Short car regardless of the few issues I have had though. I love my car and have a blast in it. :laughoff: You are gonna have things go wrong eventually with any car you choose if you drive it somewhat hard. :laughoff:

    Does TomPro have a website?

  5. ok. That's cool.

How close does the paddle come to the swingarm? Alot or just a little? Your only option then would be to lengthen the chain or do a sprocket change like you said. :thumb:

    or...do like I did...

When I went with my Turbo paddle I ran into the same problem. That's when I found an 18" wheel on ebay and used that instead.

It's rubbing to the point where it won't spin w/o force.

Do you think 1 tooth would make enough of a difference? (rear sprocket)

  6. Well I just took a look and I have a 19" Cheng Shinn. It's not a turbo, but it worked great. I had to shave it down a bit to clear the swingarm, but it still pulled no problem. $10 if you want it.

Thanx but I already ave a cheng shin that fits =)

Just wanted 2 try out the Turbo

  7. What size did you go with? Do you have a 19" or an 18"? I have a couple paddle tires of which one might work for you. I even have one that has been shaved down a bit to clear the swingarm and it still pulls great. Let me know, I might be able to help ya out with one.

    Its a 19
