  1. I have a 2006 Keystone NRG 23 front bedroom. Before I got my F350 I towed the toyhauler with my 2004 Armada with a tow package. Never had any problems just MPG was bad around 9 MPG. I have a Rhino with a custom 4 seat cage on it and it clears both the drop down beds.

    Thanks for the info. Yeah I don't expect to get good mileage or anything. Hell I get 13ish running around town with nothing hooked up to it, lol. Thanks again.

  2. I have an 07 WWFS2300....you might want to measure the width and hieght of your rhino. If you have the 2 drop down beds in the back, not sure the rhino will fit. Width wise it should, but just check, there are 2 ( 1 on each side) little step thingy under the couch and other window that sticks out about 6 in. That might cause some trouble, since the Rhino is longtravel. BUT, for me , the trailer is perfect size for my wife and I, and has great features for us.

Maybe since you have that exact model you could possibly provide me with those measurements? lol I believe the 2006 only has a single drop down queen in the rear, so I may be ok with that year. I am running stock offset wheels on my Rhino so I'm pretty sure width will not be an issue. It is about 69" wide at the widest point and I think Ive read the width is in the mid 70s in those trailers. Its about 73" tall with the stock cage, which will soon be replaced by a lower 4 seater cage, so that may be an issue if I get one with double drop down queens, or maybe not. My Rhino fit in my friends Attitude with double drop down queens, but then again I had to air way down to fit in my friends single drop down Rampage. If you get a chance and can get those measurements that would be awesome. If you dont mind me asking...what is your tow vehicle?

  3. if your going to tow with the titan get the Deep trans pan that is offered.. it will be worth it. There are a few people with titans towing similar and have done fine over the years.. Also i would suggest getting the trailer weighed they are pigs and no where near their listed weight. Im willing to lay odds a decently loaded trailer empty will be around 7k plus water gear and rhino you will probably be exceeding your truck and trailers GVWR.. I would find a nice short front bath model something smaller and lighter if it were me.

    I started looking at some of the smaller Eclipse Attitude trailers and Extreme MegaLite trailers. Did some reading on another forum and sounds like WW had some significant frame and tongue issues I'd prefer not to deal with, so maybe I should look at some other brands. I know there is another post very similiar to this where somebody is asking for suggestions on a 1/2 ton towable TH, but can you guys maybe give some suggestions based on the information provided as to what you feel would be good. Not really interested in the Carson based on them not having the on-board generators and I really dont want to be crammed in a 16ft trailer. Id rather have to slow poke it on the way there than be miserable once I got there, but at the same time I dont want to jeopordize my families safety.

  4. I would go with the Onan 4000 unless you are not really going to use electricity. I would look at the amount of space you need today but also if you plan on making other purchases in the future which will accommodate the space you will need later.

    If you go with the front bath room you will have extra room for the toys. If you go with a front bed room you will be very limited to what you can bring along with.

    Hell who needs water just bring a few cases of beer and you will be fine. Good luck. :ban-split:

    Thanks. Based on what you guys are saying Ill try to find an 06 then. I like the front sleeper idea and Im pretty much only going to have the Rhino. I have a bike now but its up for sale, so all I really need the space for is the Rhino. I agree with the less water more beer statement, haha.

  5. I am more concerned about your truck holding up over a few duning seasons towing the fs23

    from the research i got, it showed your truck has a tow cap of 9300, while the fs2300 dry is around 5k empty, and maxs out at a gvwr of 9k

    i would be worried about the wear and tear on your truck...not that i wouldnt worry about the wear and tear of any 1/2 ton towing a toy hauler

    I first started towing with my wife's tahoe, my attitude fk 19 there were times i was completely worried about breaking down because of the strain and stress towing the hauler put on the power train.

    however, if you are dead set on this, just drive very easy, and avoid big hills if you can

    BTW...go wit the 2006 and the 4k genny you cannot run a microwave with the 2800

    you also need to think about things like the number of people you plan on taking with you, as well as the size of the bathroom, water capacities, etc

    with my two kids , my wife and myself, we easily rip through 150 gallons of fresh water in a weekend...as we are not the best conservers

    I think the hauler you are looking at has a capacity of around 60 to 80 gal of fresh water?

    Hey, thanks for the response. Like you I am somewhat concerned that I will be close to my max tow rating. I have spoken with other people who have this identical setup and they seem to feel it does ok with the use of a proper hitch/weight distribution setup, as well as some are using airbags. Obviously these do nothing for the power of the truck, but they feel its manageable. I dont intend on trying to break any speed records (manual advises to tow at speeds no greater than 60) and would be cautious, and to be totally honest, I really dont get out as much as I would like, so the truck will not see heavy amounts of use towing the trailer. Not trying to convince you to support the idea, lol. Maybe sometime in the far future I would consider a diesel, but this truck only has about 10k miles on it so I plan to keep it for a while, and if something happens.....well I guess its covered under warranty as long as i dont exceed its advertised tow specs. The main reason I am looking at this trailer, is that it is the lightest, front sleeper I can find and afford, as well as having the amount of cargo space needed for the Rhino. I just really like the idea of the front sleeper and it seems like other trailers that are smaller weigh close to the same, so why not just get the larger trailer. I appreciate the input on the generator, I am pretty ignorant about these things right now. As far as the fresh water, they come with a 100 or 105 gallon tank, so I think Ill be ok with that. Just have to not go crazy. Any other info you guys have I really appreciate it.

  6. So I'm looking to buy a used toy hauler and hoping all the knowledge and experience you guys have can help me make the right decision. Basically my budget and needs are causing me to look towards the Weekend Warrior FS2300. I have a 2009 Nissan Titan with the tow package and intend to have a 4 seater long travel Rhino in the trailer. Not looking to get a different vehicle, so this is the vehicle I am working with. My budget is putting me in the area of the 2005 FS2300, as I am looking to pay cash and do not want a payment. If I found a stellar deal or saved a bit more I may be able to snag a 2006. Apparently there are some differences between the 2005 and 2006, one of which is a larger generator, Onan 2800 vs Onan 4000. Not sure if there may also be a larger AC or heater making the larger generator necessary, or they just decided to put a bigger one in, maybe somebody here knows. I guess my major question is, will the 2005 serve the purpose or are there changes that were made in 2006 that make it worth going for. And of course any other information you guys can give me would be great. Thanks.

  7. We just went about a month ago and it wasn't that bad. Went with a couple people and nobody had any issues.

    1. F350 pulling a 39ft Sierra loaded with a Rhino and a RZR.

    2. Silverado Duramax pulling 30ft Attitude with 2 Rhinos

    3. F650 (I believe. It was a big MFer) pulling 39ish ft Rampage.

    No issues at all. Well worth the shortcut.

  8. No problems either. Last night I was putting on the side of Racetrack coming home from a night ride and a HPD car went past me. No issues. Now Im sure if I was haulin a$$ and kicking rocks and dust up all over the drivers on Racetrack that would have been a different story.

  9. Damn that sucks. Was there any kind of "event" going on out there on that paved path? Probably about 4 months back I was out there in my Rhino riding on that powerline road heading North. That weekend they were having some bicycle race thing out there. Well it forks where that water treatment plant starts and I went right. Apparently there were 2 HPD Officers on quads in the direction if I had followed the fork left. They flew up to me and starting yelling at me saying I was "running from them" and some other things. I stoped, shut the rhino off and talked with them for a bit. They asked me if I was aware that the land was BLM land. I told them I had no idea who owned it but I have lived in the area since 1985 and have never had an issue with riding on it. I asked if I was not allowed to be out there and was specifically told, "Well you're really not supposed to but mostly people dont care. We are just out here this weekend for the bike race and making sure people stay off the path and dont dust out the riders." So I dont know. I live down off Racetrack and have putted on the side of the road past several HPD Officers in cars and they have never bothered me. My folks still live up by the horse streets so I take the Rhino over to visit. They get information from the "association" occasionally. Basically from what I have gathered is there is like 1 lady, who just happens to be the head of the so-called association, and also happens to live in one of the houses off Foothill, aka right next to the desert. She is always the one complaining about the riders and calling the HPD about it. I was told their main concern was all the people riding on the streets to and from the desert. Basically they were busting people for riding on the road. Sounds like things have changed.

  10. I don't know about that particular phone, but on my phone, if you go into settings, there is a "phone info" tab. You hit OK on that and it tells you the phones number. I would guess that the owner did not change their number. You can probably find the number and call them. Or try to call their own voicemail, which would maybe display their number also. Good luck. I would want mine back too!

  11. One sitting on the shelf at Checker in Pahrump, $119 and a bunch of shops on gd.com say they have lots of them at $119.

    www.utvcrap.com and www.xtrememf.com both sell them however, they both want $125 a piece. Guess it just depends on how bad you want em. That is still a pretty reasonable price for what they are.

  12. Ive got the XMF long travel on mine and its definately much better than stock. Not sure what part of Henderson you are in but I'm around the Boulder Hwy. & Racetrack area, if you want to take a ride in one shoot me a PM sometime and we can go for a spin.

  13. i couldnt get it to print a coupon, it wouldnt even show one! WTF?!?!?!?

    You gotta complete that survey first. Then they Email you a link that you have to go to. It will then show a "sample" coupon on the screen with something you need to click that will say something to the effect of "print coupon". Once you click that it should send it to your printer to print it. Hope this helps.

  14. while servicing my wifes quad the bottom bolt (oil drain) broke completely out of the oil tank i cant locate one ive called a bunch of places if any one has a stock or aftermarket tank for a 2001 raptor 660 please call me (Johnny) at (310) 633-1465. im hopefully leaving for dumont on christmas day.

    The bolt broke or the oil tank broke? You know you can go to Lowes or wherever and they have bits to extract broken bolts if it is only a broken bolt. They usually work pretty well. Just an idea. Good luck, hope you get it fixed.

  15. DO NOT get the walker evans shocks. They suck. My buddy races his rhino and is sponsored by walker evans shocks and he doesnt even run them on his play rhino, AND HE GETS THEM FREE.

    Hmm, I dunno, I'm pretty happy with mine so far, and I have heard from a few other people that have the same kit and are very pleased with it also. It's much much better than stock, thats for sure. Maybe your buddies long travel was designed to use different shocks and thats why the Walkers didn't work out for him. Most manufacturers/dealers will tell you to make sure you go with the shocks that they used in designing their kit and not to mix and match.

  16. Here's mine with the XMF kit. It uses Walker Evans shocks. Pretty happy with it so far. The owner of the shop that I bought this kit from had the Fabtech kit on his and said he would not recommend that kit to anyone. He said the best thing about their kit is the detailed instructions. I would have to agree, I used their instructions to learn how to install the axles. Anyway, here's the pics.

  17. I actually just picked up an 07 red 660 at the shop on Boulder Hwy with tax for about 2K less than what they were willing to sell it to me for in Utah without tax. If you are ready to buy and don't mind a 660 carburated, now is the time to buy. If you want the latest and greatest, I would wait, they will be getting top dollar for those things when they start rolling in.
