  1. thats awesome hope to see you guys out there :hello: i just recently found this site and still very new to it but i will be looking forward to meeting as many people as possible, see yah out there

For the ride wed.....is it buggys and quads or just for buggys?

  2. 80grit, I won't be there till Fri night. :( I was gonna try to plan the DDR ride sometime on Saturday like usual. We should at least meet up Fri night if possible before ya leave though. Although it doesn't look like we can ride together before ya leave, get w/ some of the other peeps from DDR for a ride, I know there are a bunch going out much earlier than me and our group. :mc_smiley:

Ok we will have to make the next one then as we have to get back home before saturday. Have fun out there over the weekend and be safe as usual.

  3. Oh we're definitely going. :happydrunks: I just wanted evreyone to help decide on the way we should do the traditional DDR rides every trip. I'll post up the NewYears DDR ride closer to NewYear's weekend. :beercheers:

Which day are you thinking for the ride? We will be out there from the 26th through the 30th.

  4. just insurance. the stock one is plastic and the new one i got is shaped different and looks like it would flow more coolant. with the cool head and the inline cooler i feel safe now. a good hard dune run can get thet thing hot as hell and i had no problems last time out. we will see when it gets hot out again. :headbang:

Eddie Sanders makes a nice inline gauge if you like to check periodically.

My banhsee runs around 170 degrees duning or racing.

  5. My manual says Yamaha doesn't list specs but each cylinder should be within 10% of each other. One cylinder is 125 and one is 120 but is that enough?

Thats within 10% of each other. It sounds a snitch low but it sounds like the rings are wearing evenly on both cylnders. I read on Alba's web site that they like to shave the head and run there stock banshees at 155-160 psi.

Most of my freinds running their ported, polished, and bored banshees run around 175 psi. But they are changing their dome size to get there.

Ill call a freind today who knows this stuff inside and out and see where you should be on a complete stock banshee and repost tonite.

  6. It was nice meeting all of you who showed up for the ride. :headbang: DDR ride was fun despite that damn wind! Sucks that I got a flat, but we probably couldn't ride much longer w/ that wind gettin crazy. Pauly Paul did a good job cruisin me around the dunes. Not bad for never driving my car before. Hope you all enjoyed meeting up, lets definetly do it again. :thumb:

Sorry I missed the ride Pete. Had some equipment failure and didnt have a back up with me. Will make the next one. :(

  7. So the head-count for people meeting up is: Joe, Don29Palms, ynot, daknuckler, sandYFZ, rcjunky3, LVAXIS250, 80grit, ? Did I miss anybody? Other than this list of people and their friends, who else is meeting up?

Not sure the exact count of my crew...but should be between 3-7 with me. We enjoyed the heck out of the last DDR ride.

  8. Thanks 80grit. But no, I got pushed down real hard at a concert (I fell wrong in the mosh pit). Heres the thread

Ouch and that does suck. Well riding shotgun will still be better then not riding at all. Im wondering if there will be entertainment again at comp hill at nite. The trailer with the disco lights above the dance pole on halloween was quite entertaining. :shocked2:

  9. As some of you may or may not know- I broke both my wrists over the past weekend. :shocked2: Yeah, sh*tty! I am still planning to meet up for the DDR ride even if it means driving my crippled a$$ over to the hill in my truck just to meet up. My goal is to maybe get my rail out there and ride passenger in it if I can find a trust worthy driver from my camp. We'll see how the rest of my messed up week goes. :undecided: Hope to see all of you out there.

Sorry to hear about your wrists....Were you snowboarding?

  10. There is going to be a YFZ shootout at Banshee hill at 10:30am on saturday if you guys want to watch, there should be some fast bikes.Just thought id let you guys know.Ill be racing in it with the new build.I want in on the dune ride too :happydrunks:

Is it just gonna be for yfz's?
