  1. Hello all, it's been a minute since I've posted or even visited the site. Member since 2008'ish I think.

Thanks Admin for combining my old account and my new member request. I've retired, moved and had to change web service, rendering access to my old account difficult to say the least. We still visit and ride, just not as aggressively or as often as in the past.

    Best regards,

  2. the 10 hooks up awesome.. but some peoples riding style prefer to have an 8 to have that extra spin in there for sliding around and what not which is the way i like to ride.. a little on the loose side.. thats what was great about the kings turbo paddle.. You could get teh a$$ end real loose and layed over and those ribs kept it from sliding out.. where as the sand snake or chitsings would just keep on sliding and wouldnt stay hooked when you were really bookin it in a corner..

    just my 2 cents :D

I think the riders weight is also a major factor!!!!! :stir: :poop: :stir: :poop:

. The Orange County Air Pollution Control District and seven other Districts in California adopted regulations banning the use of dirty fuels and smoke-producing smudge pots (SCAQMD, 2002).

I'm pretty sure that they are not legal to use!

  4. Here is the answer I got from BLM on this subject and as I thought the rhino and tires are a personal decision not a requirement of the job nor a goverment vehicle. Here is there response;

    Thanks Terry,

We will see what we can do to make it better.

They did give us one list of supplies they wanted when they arrived a

little over a week ago. They did get those things. Then this weekend they

gave us another list of supplies. This list includes the fencing, etc.

and they will get those supplies. They have difficulty understanding that

the park rangers on site on the weekend can not just go out and buy stuff.

They have the bring the list back here for funding and do a purchase

requisition and then someone with purchase authority buys the stuff and the

park ranger takes it to them. Its not like a small family business, its a

process we need to follow. And it means that they will get the stuff a

    week after they ask.

We can not buy things for their personal vehicles. We pay them a milage

rate that is very fair and they should be able to buy the fuel, oil, tires,

all the maintenance items for the vehicles that they want out of the

mileage rate funding. That is just the way it works for a government

agency. We can pay the milage rate, but can not buy things for a personal

vehicle. It is harder for some to understand what the mileage rate is for

    than others.

And, just for your general information, they are maintenance workers by

their volunteer agreement. The rescue that they do is on their own, and

not part of their BLM responsibilities.

  5. today (sept 11 2008) i got on a flight for FT Lewis Washington for some well needed military training and schooling. As i walk around post checking out all these young soldiers from 18 on up, most with combat patches, Combat Action Badges, some with prosthetics, some limping. I feel very proud of these kids. at their age they have seen things that will forever change their lives. Iam trying to get a deployment right now over to Afganistan before its all over. I feel that i have been deprived from my last 3 deployments. Its time for me to do my share and keep one of these kids from having to go back.

thank you to all my friends who support the soldiers, (you dont have to support the war, just the ones with American flags on their arms) thank you for loving your country. THANK GOD for family, friends, sand dunes and mini mogs..(just kidding about the mog)...but thank all of you for being there for all of us in uniform.

  7. It definately is a blow to the sport. I dint think there will be another trailer manufacturer that will be close to the caliber WW made. I also think other companies will go under....its just the start.

Sandrail companies are hurting bad too.

Check KIT Extreme and Rage'n. I believe :drunk: Warmoth still owns these companies. Both trailers have "borrowed" features and benifits as well as construction & design from Warrior. :beercheers:

  8. I did NOT click on the link, my question to you is. If you think it is so disrespectful why did you then post up the same photos and or article on this site. You might be a hypocrit? Just does not make sense to me
