If you decide to buy in NV. find one of the smaller dealer around the state and take a road trip.

This may sound stupid but, I was once told to let the air out of one of the front tires. makes it hard to push out of camp.

I just went through that same crap with mine. Cummins Onan wanted 750 bucks to fix mine after 250 bucks to find out what was wrong. Call the Cummins Onan place find out how much the parts are and go from there,My carb was only $110 took 30 min to change works great.

Which one of our fine Yamaha shops did your doors? I want to make sure I don't take mine there.

I think it would be a good idea to go after other areas. The problem I see is nobody sticks together you get 4 different offroad groups wanting things and not working together to keep all areas open. motorcycles, quads,jeep clubs,bicycles all working for something but, not together.

that's it alot of people don't know how they work. years ago there was an add for a hitch company they had the rear wheels off the car and the hubs were not touching the ground.

I had the same problem with my trailer. You need to get the trailer level or down in front a little. If you are running the load leveler bars make sure they are not to tight this takes the weight off the back of your truck.(one reason so many people get stuck in the sand at Dumont) I allways try and load they heavy stuff over the axels and forward. It worked for me.

I have heard that if you put that red triangle tractor (farm equipment ) sign on the back you can drive on the roads not to exceed 35 mph something like that .I see golf carts, john deer carts, rhinos driving all over by my job. non construction site. They all have that sign.

The guy who had one of the ice chests showed up. He started getting a little mouthy with a few people and it just got worse they had to remove him from the property before they killed him. Not that he didn't deserve it.

34f Brendan Turnage's Bike stolen from the pits at the Alamo Yucca chuckers race. Also a gear bag from the same camp all walked out of there Friday night. Also Saturday night from the same camp out of the back of a truck a large heavy ice chest full of food and drinks. Pretty sad that this is going on. If any one hears anything lets get these guys. pass the word around. lets Not let this happen again. everyone lock your stuff and keep an eye out for each other.

I believe it was John Gilbert who had the minining rights at Dumont for 99 years or something like that. He later made some kind of deal with with the blm. I don,t know about the small dunes.

Back in the old days there was tons of trails to ride. Sperry wash trail is the only one I know of that is open to riding.99.9% of the trails the shoot off from it are now closed.

There are some very good trails ...................just dont get caught ...........I didn't say that.

I have been going to Dumont for more than 25 years and it seems that more people are drinking than ever before. Im not agains drinking but leave it for the camp fire.

I have to say it was a fun trip with out group but, There were to many people for me. To many stupid people.

It's kind of sad these people that leave all their trash for someone else to pick up, bottles,cans mic. junk in the fire pits. Just more ammo for the grennies and I would not blame them.

We did wake up Sunday and a stray dog was sitting in our Rhino kind of funny, asked around and did find the owners they were so happy to get him back.

I will be there pitting at the ALT (bikes), c-mon rain.

If you buy a 20 dollar non-res. sticker for California that money goes to the OHV fund but, the money from a ticket for not having the sticker( 50bucks)goes into the general fund. OHV gets zero.

Some of our fine (worthless) dealers here in LV are big supporters of the NV sticker.Buy out of state pay the tax here and still be money ahead.

yeah we had a 18 ft fun runner pulled it with a v6 f150 did just fine even going up baker never had a problem with that trailer . now we have a superlight 2500 love it have had some small problems . only problem we have now is the wall is buckling next to the stove so the stove cabinet wont meet at the top to the wall . wheelers or somebody at warrior is dropping the ball so far going on three weeks to get authorization to fix . i had to call warrior today and hopefully someone gets in gear .

My WW the wall by the shower and sink warped so much that the door would not slid in or out. The dealer or WW would not do anything had to fix it myself.
