I road that area last weekend, real fun when you get past the V(if I get what you're saying). You can take it all the way around the mountain, there are wilderness signs along the right side of the trail denoteing the boundry. Also a killer overlook is up there near the top, you can see all the valley, and dunes below.

I was surprised to see them; I was thinking it could be a ploy to keep the enviro’s away, or something to lock us out. …Or just something for a buggy or quad to run in to and get hurt. I looked at the paper work attached to the posts, and the claim was filed in September 06

I did a quick search, couldn't find anything, so when did the claim markers go up at Little Dunes? They are right between the bathrooms where everyone parks. 4 corner markers, I looked at the paperwork that is attached and it looks like a large area of the Little dunes is claimed. I wonder how long befor someone pulls them out...?or puts up a fence...
